Thumbing through the bills, the one looks at the other just before he loses count and says, “I love it when a plan comes together.”

The other simply smiles and nods.

I can think of several times this fictitious scenario has played out in history, and each time the story ends the same way.

The reason for their recent mirth comes as Saudi Arabia officially raised the price of its oil deliveries to Asia next month; the cost of a barrel of Arab Light grade crude will be sold at a $1.70/bbl premium over the Oman/Dubai average.

It’s still early March and oil prices are already rising… the Saudi plan is coming together nicely, indeed.

Perhaps a few of you are starting to wonder just how we got here.

Well, that’s the easy part.

{$ad_5831_677337}

Honestly, we’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop ever since President Biden sold off more than half of our strategic petroleum reserves in 2022.

To be fair to the President, it was perhaps the only way he was able to keep a lid on oil prices after Russian tanks started rolling into Ukraine. If he hadn’t made that move, oil prices would’ve spiked far higher than the $120 per barrel that summer.

Still, it was a short-term sacrifice for long-term pain.

So where do the Saudis come into play here?

Like I said, that’s actually the easy part to answer. OPEC and its allies (mainly Russia) have been voluntarily curtailing production in late 2022 to maintain the global supply/demand balance. It was a counter to the massive SPR release by the U.S., and all they had to do was wait us out.

Of course, one kink in their plans was the surprise production growth by U.S. producers, which pushed our domestic production to a new record of 13.3 million barrels per day in 2023. Hardly anyone saw that coming, and it was the only thing that kept global supply higher.

They knew it wouldn’t last, and as long as they stuck to their production cut, then things would eventually work out — especially considering that global demand not only reached new all-time highs in 2023, but are also poised for even more growth this year.

Again, all the Saudis had to do was wait us out.

Now it’s time to collect.

There’s a reason why the House of Saud raised its prices to Asia and left prices to Europe and the U.S. unchanged or slightly lower.

They understand full well who’s driving demand this year. The latest data out of India shows that demand is hitting new highs. More importantly, India will be the greatest driver of global oil demand for the rest of the decade.

Meanwhile, Chinese refineries are processing more crude oil than ever before:

The Saudis are now in a win-win situation heading throughout the rest of 2024 because non-OPEC supply growth is severely limited. Remember, U.S. oil production is expected to decline from 13.3 million barrels per day and not reach that level again until next year.

{$ad_5218_397367}

Keep in mind that when the summer demand comes rolling around again, President Biden won’t have the same tricks available to him… or will he?

Don’t be surprised if he tries to tap the SPR again if things get tight and crude prices surge higher, but that might be political suicide during an election year, not to mention a huge blow to our energy security.

I know it sounds bad, but the smart investors will see the opportunity if they look hard enough.

You see, my readers and I know that the game has changed within the U.S. oil sector. Gone are the days of frenzied, debt-fueled drilling, when companies would sink as many drill bits into the ground as the bank would pay for.

Today, it’s about getting more with less.

Less drilling. Lower costs. Fewer rigs.

Efficiency is what’s going to keep U.S. oil flowing at near record levels this year. Naturally, that puts an incredible amount of value on the oil stocks that can pump more with less.

Those will be the true winners this summer.

And I think it’s time you check at least one of them out right now.

Until next time,

Reader,

In the shadow of the towering issues we’ve covered what's plaguing the gold mining industry…

From its severe environmental footprint to its profound social ramifications and the underlying failed economic model…

There emerges a glimmer of transformative potential.

And this potential lies not in the continuation of age-old practices but in a radical reimagining of what it means to "mine" gold.

The traditional image of mining — characterized by vast open pits, towering piles of waste, and communities uprooted by conflict…

Might soon give way to a groundbreaking approach that promises to address these multifaceted issues head-on.

This new paradigm proposes a tantalizing solution: accessing the immense value of gold deposits without ever breaking the ground.

This innovative approach stands as a beacon of hope, offering a way to sidestep the environmental degradation, social injustice, and economic inefficiency inherent in conventional mining operations.

By eliminating the need to physically extract gold from the earth, this method holds the promise of preserving ecosystems, safeguarding human health and communities, and unlocking unprecedented economic value.

So in this article, we’ll delve into how this visionary approach not only mitigates the longstanding issues associated with gold mining, but also opens up a realm of untapped potential for investors, as it heralds a new era in the pursuit of one of humanity's most coveted resources.

{$ad_5827_679741}

A Greener Path to Gold

The innovative approach to gold mining and monetization represents a seismic shift in the industry, one that promises to reverse the longstanding negative environmental impacts that have long been its hallmark.

By eschewing traditional, physically invasive mining practices, this new model circumvents the release of toxic chemicals into the environment, effectively eliminating the primary source of pollution associated with gold extraction.

In this groundbreaking framework, the specters of atmospheric and oceanic mercury poisoning become relics of the past.

Without the use of mercury and cyanide in the extraction process, there is no risk of these hazardous substances contaminating air and water ecosystems.

Likewise, the absence of cyanide-contaminated waste and toxic runoff signifies a monumental leap toward a more sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to accessing gold.

This visionary model for gold mining emphasizes minimal disruption to the natural environment…

It champions methods that are not only less invasive, but actively promote the preservation of ecological integrity, incentivizing miners to disrupt the natural landscape as little as possible.

This approach not only sets a new standard for environmental stewardship within the industry, but also provides a pathway for legacy operations to transition to more sustainable practices.

By adopting this new model, traditional mines have the opportunity to "clean up their act," mitigating past environmental damages while potentially reaping significant financial benefits.

The ethos at the core of this reimagined mining paradigm is one of harmony with the environment, where the value of gold can be harnessed without sacrificing the health of our planet.

It offers a blueprint for a future in which the gold industry contributes positively to the global ecosystem, turning the tide on decades of environmental degradation and setting a new benchmark for responsible resource extraction.

{$ad_5770_672417}

Golden Harmony

The revolutionary approach to gold mining stands as a beacon of hope, not just for the environment, but also for the countless lives historically marred by the industry's societal consequences.

By moving away from physical mining, this innovative method fundamentally alters the social landscape of gold extraction, addressing the root causes of many of its most grievous injustices.

The absence of traditional mining operations means there's no longer a catalyst for the displacement of communities due to mining-related conflicts.

Without the need to seize and excavate land, the tens of millions of individuals who might have been uprooted in the quest for gold can maintain their homes and ways of life, untouched by the turmoil that has historically accompanied mining ventures.

Moreover, the eradication of toxic chemicals from the extraction process spells an end to the tragic narrative of mercury poisoning among miners.

With millions of individuals no longer exposed to these hazardous substances, the health and well-being of mining communities can be preserved, preventing the untold suffering that has been a perennial shadow over the industry.

Children, too, find a reprieve in this new model…

The harrowing reality of child labor in dangerous mining conditions, a stain on the conscience of the gold industry, is rendered obsolete.

This approach eliminates the very environment that fostered such exploitation, offering a brighter, safer future for millions of children.

Furthermore, this innovative model extends an olive branch to those involved in illegal mining operations, providing them with a legitimate, profitable avenue to transition away from unlawful practices.

This not only aids in curbing illegal mining activities, but also integrates these individuals into a legal framework that respects both the law and environmental stewardship.

In essence, this transformative approach to gold mining redefines the industry's impact on society.

It promises a future where gold can be valued not just for its luster, but for the ethical and humane manner in which it is obtained, marking a significant step forward in aligning the industry with the principles of justice and human rights.

{$ad_5818_674819}

Unearthing a New Vein of Viability

This innovative approach to gold as an asset class heralds a radical departure from the traditional economic pitfalls associated with gold mining, offering a more sustainable and profitable framework.

By redefining the parameters of gold extraction, this new model significantly enhances the prospects of identifying and capitalizing on economically viable assets.

In contrast to the traditional mining model, where less than 0.1% of explored sites evolve into productive mines, this novel approach dramatically increases the likelihood of discovering valuable assets.

The shift away from physical extraction and the high costs associated with it means that even sites previously deemed unprofitable under old methodologies can now become sources of substantial returns.

This paradigm shift not only revitalizes the industry's economic model, but also extends the life and viability of gold deposits around the world.

Another critical advantage of this approach is its impact on the economic viability of gold deposits.

Traditional methods render only about 10% of exploited deposits economically feasible, primarily due to the exorbitant costs of extraction and environmental remediation.

However, by eliminating these significant expenses, previously marginal deposits can now be reconsidered, unlocking new value from resources that would have otherwise remained untapped.

Moreover, one of the most transformative aspects of this new model is its elimination of storage fees.

With gold remaining in situ, undisturbed beneath the earth's surface, the burdensome costs associated with vault storage and security are rendered moot.

This aspect is particularly compelling for miners, banks, and investors alike, as it eradicates a perennial drain on the asset's value.

Consequently, gold's potential as an inflation-proof asset is magnified, free from the erosion of value through fees and charges.

In essence, this innovative approach to gold mining and monetization not only addresses the environmental and social challenges of traditional practices, but also rectifies the economic inefficiencies that have long plagued the industry.

It presents gold as an asset class with renewed vigor and sustainability, promising a future where the value of gold can be harnessed without the attendant costs and consequences of the past.

{$ad_5776_681427}

Golden Horizons

So, in summary, the transformative approach to gold mining and monetization we've explored today offers a beacon of hope in addressing the long-standing challenges that have tarnished the industry.

And we've seen just how this innovative model promises to reverse the environmental devastation traditionally associated with gold mining by eliminating the need for harmful chemicals and invasive extraction methods.

This not only preserves our planet's precious ecosystems but also sets a new standard for sustainable resource utilization.

Moreover, we've delved into the profound social benefits of this approach, highlighting its potential to eradicate the human toll of traditional mining practices…

By moving away from physical mining, this model prevents the displacement of communities, protects millions from the health hazards of toxic chemicals, and spares countless children from the perils of forced labor, marking a significant stride toward a more ethical and humane industry.

Economically, this new paradigm breathes life into the industry's flagging viability as well…

By dramatically increasing the chances of discovering economically valuable assets and turning previously unprofitable deposits into lucrative opportunities — all while eliminating costly storage fees — this model redefines gold as a truly inflation-proof asset, free from the financial burdens that have historically diminished its value.

And as we look ahead, the next piece in this series will expand this conversation to the digital asset ecosystem and the issues we’ve discussed that are plaguing it…

And we’ll exploring how new principles and innovations like the ones

You’ve got to drill down into the programs — and specifically, the R&D programs.

That’s what gives the biggest clues about spending trends and where to invest.

For example, one eye-popping increase in funding involves something I call “Project Wingman.”

Project Wingman is an effort to pair manned fighter jets with drones, or what the Pentagon is calling collaborative combat aircraft (CCA).

It’s been in the testing phase for a while, and now having proven itself, it’s set to get a massive increase in funding.

Indeed, the Pentagon is now pouring $522 million into Project Wingman, up from a scant $52 million in FY23.

That’s a 904% increase that will cover the cost of developing the platform itself, developing the autonomous programming that will fly the drones, and the creation of an experimental operations unit for pilots to practice and train alongside their new robot wingmen.

Just to start, the service is buying 1,000 units as it works to determine basing needs, organizational structures, sustainment, and other aspects of the program.

And once that’s all sorted out, we’ll undoubtedly see more funding increases and a higher rate of acquisition in years ahead.

Remember, the key to this program is the relative affordability of drones compared with the exorbitant cost of a fifth generation fighter.

We’re talking about $5 million–$15 million per unit, versus $70 million–$80 million for an F-35.

The whole point is to grow the strength and size of our Air Force to maintain an advantage over near-peer adversaries like Russia and China.

“We cannot afford complacency, nor can we afford an Air Force composed largely of fighters that cost as much as our fifth-gen aircraft,” Kristyn Jones, the acting undersecretary of the Air Force, said recently.

Additionally, investing tens of millions of dollars in drones could actually save the Pentagon and the American taxpayer hundreds of millions of dollars down the line, as the smaller attritable drones make their more expensive manned counterparts more survivable.

That is, by flying alongside or out ahead, assisting manned fighters with target acquisition or threat neutralization or even acting as a diversion, these drones could save dozens or even hundreds of manned fighters from being shot down along with their pilots.

So this is a huge opportunity — not just for the military but for investors.

And I’m happy to report that it’s still in its very earliest stages.

So do yourself a favor and check out my full report on Project Wingman — and the company most likely to benefit from all this increased funding — right here.

Fight on,

Then, its manned companion, or even a fellow drone, can fly in and avenge it.

But that’s not all.

If the drone’s camera detects an enemy fortification, armor column, ship, missile base, ammunition depot, sniper nest, IED…

It can relay that information to the cloud, effectively mapping out the entire theater of war in cyberspace where literally every unit in our nation’s vast military can access it.

From troops on the ground to ships at sea and command centers at home — the entire armed forces has real-time intelligence regarding the enemy’s forces.

Even satellites are integrated to instantly update our forces with the latest intelligence.

It’s all connected.

And soon, our ground troops, tanks, and ships will all have their own companion craft too.

So then what’s the next step?

It’s to remove people from the equation altogether.

This is the first big step into a future where robots do our fighting for us.

It begins with unmanned companion craft as we wean ourselves off the belief that humans are needed to make crucial combat decisions.

And it ends with automated, AI-powered drones taking over the show entirely — doing things no human has the physical or mental capacity to achieve.

I’m not trying to be harsh there. I’m just telling you that a computer can fly a jet much faster, absorbing a gravitational force that would cause a human pilot to pass out.

These robots are programmed to understand an aircraft’s exact capabilities and limitations and execute on that knowledge precisely.

There is no sensor-to-shooter timeline — just an instantaneous lethal response when a target is identified.

There is no instinct for self preservation — just ruthless, unflinching execution.

And if you haven’t yet guessed, there’s a reason I’m telling you this now.

It’s because this program was in its experimental phase for years as I followed it from its inception.

But that ended months ago and now we’re in a new phase…

The acquisition phase.

That’s what happens when the Pentagon sees a successful program and asks Congress for the money to start buying the hardware.

In this case, the Air Force has asked for $5.82 billion to build out its arsenal of collaborative combat aircraft.

And I’ve got the name of the company that’s going to get the lion's share of that money.

This company is relatively small, too. It’s not one of the “Big Five” — Lockheed Martin, Boeing, RTX, Northrop Grumman, or General Dynamics.

Of course, after this money starts coming in, the “Big Five” could just as soon be the “Big Six.”

And that’d be a huge boon for investors who stand to multiply their money.

So get the details here, because once Congress gives the green light, the stock is going to take off.

Because like I said, this is just the beginning.

The Air Force is going to get its companion craft, and then the Army and Navy will want theirs.

And before long, they won’t just be companions. And they will trust those metrics even when a human pilot wouldn’t have the confidence or physical ability to execute on them.

How do I know this?

Because it’s already happening, and I’ve been closely following this highly secretive project for years.

That’s why I know that back in 2016 an AI pilot called Alpha beat an experienced human combat flight instructor.

And a few years later in 2020, another AI algorithm beat out seven teams of human fighter pilots in a virtual dogfight.

I even know that Chinese scientists got similar results earlier this year when an AI pilot bested a human pilot stationed remotely on the ground.

But most importantly, I know the company that’s been cooperating with our military to take experiments like these and turn them into reality.

It’s all part of “Project Wingman” — an effort that’s paired autonomous drones with manned craft to create an unbeatable team.

These AI wingmen are gearing up to fly right alongside our pilots in F-16s, F-35s, and B-2s.

They can fly ahead of their manned counterparts, probing enemy defenses with sensors and radar equipment.

What they find can be instantly relayed to fighter formations, providing a real-time map of enemy targets and potential threats.

They can also act offensively, jamming enemy aircraft systems, providing covering fire for their companions, and eliminating anti-air defenses with rockets and bombs.

And they can do it all autonomously, pooling vast amounts of data and intelligence from the military’s cloud, processing it, and acting on it in a fraction of the time it would take a human to even comprehend.

That’s why they will one day come to replace humans altogether.

Remember, just last week, a pilot ejected from an F-35, leaving the military to scramble to find out where the jet ended up.

Well, imagine if instead, an AI pilot was simply able to resume control of the jet and land it safely.

That’s what we’re working toward, and that’s why the company I’ve found to profit from this trend has so much potential.

Like I said, it’s been a key Pentagon partner in this endeavor for years, and it’s hardly a household name.

It’s not one of the Big Five or a massive conglomerate.

On the contrary, it’s quite small, which is why investors have such a terrific opportunity to profit.

You have to act fast, though, because the window won’t stay open forever.

So get all the details here while you can.

Fight on,

Prior to the public announcement of the transaction by T- Mobile, executives at T-Mobile told a small, trusted group of consultants that they had retained to work on the deal, including Buyer, about the merger and directed them to keep the information confidential. Buyer breached his duty of confidentiality to T-Mobile and misappropriated that information by purchasing shares of Sprint across several brokerage accounts, including his own accounts, an account held jointly with his cousin, and an account in the name of a close, personal friend. Across these accounts, Buyer made more than $126,000 from the purchase and subsequent sale of Sprint stock after the merger was publicly announced.

In or about June through August 2019, Buyer again engaged in insider trading, this time trading in shares of Navigant Consulting ahead of Navigant’s acquisition by consulting and advisory firm Guidehouse.

Buyer was sentenced to 22 months in prison and fined $350,000 for the illicit acts.

But company insiders, meaning the C-suite executives, have a sort of backdoor way to play their own stock.

It’s still “insider trading,” so to speak, but it’s perfectly legal.

As long as they disclose their stock purchases to the SEC in what’s called a Form 4, they’re doing nothing wrong.

And this is exactly how we learned about the stock I mentioned above.

So as promised, that stock is Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR).

All I did was find the Form 4's filed by the company insiders and found that they've been on a shopping spree.

A year after my coverage, ARK Invest is buying shares.

In fact, it just purchased 250,000 more shares and now owns 10% of the company.

But we got in well ahead of Cathie Wood because we were playing off that insider information.

That’s how we beat the system.

How Did I Learn This Hack?

You see, I’m a bit of an insider myself, but it’s not what you think.

Doing a bit of genealogy research revealed something to my family.

A relative of mine helped found the New York Stock Exchange.

Get this...

On May 17, 1792, 24 stockbrokers and merchants gathered under a buttonwood tree outside 68 Wall Street to sign the Buttonwood Agreement, a document that would set the foundation for the New York Stock Exchange. Revered as one of the most influential financial documents in history, the Buttonwood Agreement sought to stabilize the securities market after the Panic of 1792. The agreement proposed the creation of a system in which brokers and merchants would trade only with each other and for a set commission per transaction. The contents of the document are short but sweet:

We the Subscribers, Brokers for the Purchase and Sale of Public Stock, do hereby solemnly promise and pledge ourselves to each other, that we will not buy or sell from this day for any person whatsoever, any kind of Public Stock, at a less rate than one-quarter percent Commission on the Specie value and that we will give preference to each other in our Negotiations. In Testimony whereof we have set our hands this 17th day of May at New York, 1792.

Of the 24 signers, one name stands out for me: Bleecker, my grandmother’s maiden name. Two Bleeckers spilled their ink on the Buttonwood Agreement.

My grandmother was the last Bleecker in her line, but my uncle, who calls himself an amateur genealogist — he’s being modest — has done a lot of research on this, so here’s what we know.

Anthony Lispenard Bleecker, the namesake for Bleecker Street that runs through Greenwich Village in Manhattan, was a prominent banker, merchant, and vestryman at Trinity Church in Lower Manhattan. He owned a 106-acre farm where Bleecker Street is today and a house on Broadway. His brother and son were signers of the Buttonwood Agreement — and that makes Anthony Lispenard Bleecker my fourth great-great-grandfather, if I’m doing my math right.

But I decided not to join the ranks of Wall Street because of the rampant corruption.

Instead, I gather information from the outside looking in.

It's much more fun that way.

If you haven't already, sign up for my personal fanlist email so you can always stay up to date with what I'm tracking.

And if you want more actionable insights, I've put together a presentation on the top-five best-performing hedge funds and exactly what they're buying right now.

Don't be left behind.

Stay frosty,

Indeed, flashing red warning signs abound in the country, from the decline in its real estate sector to the financial health of its debt-laden local governments.

The exports China long-leveraged for growth have slowed, too. They’ve declined for three straight months now, with a standout 14.5% drop in July.

Naturally, amid this malaise, the value of China’s currency, the yuan, is steadily eroding.

In fact, it’s fallen to a 16-year low — touching 7.35 against the dollar.

So, in an effort to bolster its currency by impeding the rush to buy gold to hedge against the weakening yuan, China stopped granting quotas for international gold imports by banks.

However, those restrictions were lifted last Friday, opening the door back up to gold purchases.

Obviously that distorted the market, causing local gold prices to surge far above gold’s global benchmark price.

Indeed, the fact that gold prices in Shanghai were at one point $120 per ounce higher than they were in London (a record high for that spread) shows just how willing Chinese buyers were to pay a premium for the yellow metal.

The demand is clearly there.

In fact, even with the ban, China has imported about 900 metric tons of gold this year, which is the highest in five years.

Additionally, gold demand in China is expected to surge even higher as we approach numerous holidays including the Mid-Autumn Festival, the National Day of the People’s Republic, and Golden Week, which is the first week of October and the country’s traditional wedding season.

So basically, gold demand in China was already high and now it’s set to surge even higher on seasonal factors.

And now that Beijing has taken the curbs off imports, we’re seeing a return to equilibrium between gold prices in China and gold prices in London and New York.

That means the local price for gold in China is falling as imports improve domestic supply, but global markets will see gold prices rise as China sucks up more of the world’s supply.

That’s the short-term picture.

Long term, gold prices will continue to rise because global supply is simply drying up.

Gold production has peaked and has actually been in decline since 2019.

Effectively, all the low-hanging fruit — the massive jumbo deposits — has already been discovered and exploited.

Thus, the trajectory of gold over the next few years and decades is decidedly positive.

So if you want to take advantage, you should check out the latest report from The Outsider Club’s resident resource expert, Luke Burgess.

He’s got all the details on a gold play that’s poised to deliver massive gains to timely investors.

But you’ll have to act fast, because it’s set to go vertical as soon as September 30.

Trust me, you don’t want to miss out.

Fight on,

Today we’re going to talk about three precious metal stocks with the highest-paying dividends right now.

Investing in high-yield dividend stocks is a common move for those looking to invest while enjoying a steady stream of income. Precious metal stocks in particular offer a unique opportunity as safe havens during economic uncertainty. The companies we’ll explore today provide exposure to the potential appreciation of precious metals and also reward their investors with attractive dividend yields.

We’re going to cover the highest-dividend-paying gold, silver, and platinum group metal stocks on the market right now. Let's dive in.

First up, we've got B2Gold Corp. (TSX: BTO).

B2Gold is a leading player in the gold mining industry. The company is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and it operates several gold mines globally, including locations in Mali, Namibia, and the Philippines.

B2Gold has a reputation for efficient mining operations and exploration, making it a prominent name in the gold sector.

As of the most recent data available, B2Gold offers a substantial annual dividend yield of 5.05%. This isn’t much higher than some of the company's competitors. DRDGOLD Limited (NYSE: DRD), for example, currently has a dividend of 4.94%. Meanwhile, Caledonia Mining (NYSEAMERICAN: CMCL) is paying 4.97%.

Now, let's talk silver with Pan American Silver (NYSE: PAAS).

Pan American Silver is a prominent player in the silver mining industry. Based in Vancouver, Canada, it has operations in various countries, including Mexico, Peru, and Argentina. Last year, the company saw consolidated silver production of 18.5 million ounces, making it the fourth-largest silver producer in the world.

Compared with gold companies, silver companies pay much lower dividends. Nevertheless, with an annual yield of 2.47%, Pan American Silver’s payout is significantly higher than its next dividend competitor, Fresnillo (LSE: FRES), which is paying just over 2%.

Up next is Sibanye Stillwater (NYSE: SBSW), a heavyweight in platinum group metals (PGMs) mining.

The company is based in South Africa and has diversified operations that include platinum, palladium, rhodium, and gold mining. Sibanye Stillwater's presence in the PGM sector positions it well to benefit from the growing demand for these metals in various industries, including automotive and jewelry.

The company offers a compelling dividend yield of 5.67%, making it an attractive investment choice for those interested in PGMs and dividends.

Just for good measure, I also want to add a copper stock to our list of high-dividend-paying stocks, even though copper is not a precious metal.

Southern Copper (NYSE: SCCO) is a major player in the copper mining industry. The company is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, and operates primarily in Peru and Mexico.

Copper is a vital industrial metal used in various applications, including electronics and construction. Southern Copper's strategic locations and efficient operations contribute to its position in the copper market. Currently, the company offers a significant dividend yield of 5.01%, making it an appealing option for investors interested in copper and dividends.

To wrap it up, these four companies are your golden ticket to the world of precious metals with a dividend twist. B2Gold, with that 5.05% annual dividend yield, is your go-to for gold mining. Pan American Silver, bringing a 2.47% dividend yield to the table, shines in the silver scene. Sibanye Stillwater, rocking a 5.67% dividend yield, is the PGM specialist. And don't forget Southern Copper, with its 5.01% dividend yield, dominating the copper industry.

Until next time,

Luke Burgess

However, the United States and its Western allies have since come to realize that it was a mistake to let their defense manufacturing atrophy.

So they’re reversing course.

Indeed, the FY24 defense budget (which totals $858 billion) includes $1.5 billion to increase the Army’s production capacity for the 155 mm shell. It also allocates another $18 billion to growing the industrial base over the next 15 years to get to that 100,000-per-month production target.

Again, General Dynamics makes 155 mm artillery shells, as well as key propellant and propulsion chemicals like ball powder propellants and artillery propelling charges.

It makes shells at its Ordnance and Tactical Systems facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and it fills them at a government facility in Iowa.

Beyond that, the Army is collaborating with GD on another manufacturing facility in Garland, Texas.

Lockheed Martin and RTX (NYSE: RTX), meanwhile, are set to build a Javelin plant in Poland.

The Javelin anti-tank missile was widely lauded for its effectiveness in neutralizing Russian armor battalions at the war’s outset.

Now everybody wants them.

Lockheed Martin also builds Black Hawk helicopters in Poland. It assembles F-35s in Italy and Japan. And it recently announced a deal that will see Rheinmetall manufacture fuselages for the stealth fighters in Germany.

So there’s a massive build-out going on, and investors should act accordingly.

However, if you really want to profit from the most advanced military and defense technology, you should check out Secret Stock Files.

I cover all the most cutting-edge stuff there.

Fight on,

Just like investing, surfing is all about risk tolerance.

How much risk are you willing to take to ride that big wave?

Moreover, are you assessing the risk properly based on your experience and risk tolerance?

It all starts by searching for that secret spot.

Sure, you could follow the lackeys and go out on the main public beaches with lifeguards and small waves...

But you’re not going to have much fun.

After a short trip uptown, I finally stumbled upon the most beautiful surf spot I’ve ever seen.

It was tucked away, obscured from view, and the waves came in perfectly against the rocks, forming a tide pool that kept the surfers from drifting away.

It was clearly the local hangout.

I had to snap a picture of it.

There were about 30 surfers out there at one point, with van-lifers, musicians, and happy dogs.

I’d never seen anything like it on the East Coast.

Now, I can’t tell you where this is, but just know that with a little luck, you too can find that secret spot.

Here’s where this relates to investing...

You have to be willing to go outside your comfort zone and against mainstream thought.

An old colleague of mine use to say something like this: By doing what everyone else does, you’re going to get the results that everyone else gets.

I couldn’t agree more here.

Then, once you’ve found your spot, you have to have the right equipment (a surfboard) and decide whether you want to take on the risk of paddling out.

Again, this relates to investing as you need the right equipment (a brokerage account and some spare cash), and you have to be willing to take the risk of investing in some stocks.

Sure, you might look stupid by going against the grain with little experience, but who cares?

Are you going to sit on the sidelines or go for it?

Time and again, I talk to so many novice investors who just want to park their money in a 401(k) and not take control of their hard-earned savings in a brokerage account.

They fail to realize that a 401(k) is the exact same thing as investing your money in a brokerage. The only difference is you can’t access it until you “retire,” whatever that means these days.

By taking on a little risk, you can build up that brokerage account and learn much more about the markets and stocks than by socking it away in a retirement fund that you know nothing about.

Finally, after you decide to take the risk, get off your rear, and paddle out, you have some options...

You can sit patiently on your board and ride the waves up and down (you actually spend most of your time surfing in this position)... just sitting, waiting, and enjoying the weather. I equate this to passive investing — perhaps your blue chip dividend-paying stocks or your high-interest cash accounts.

But every once and a while you see it coming... A golden opportunity... That big wave that’s coming right for you.

You’re in the perfect position.

Now you just have to decide if you have the skill and risk appetite to take that wave. You’ll never know unless you try. Sure, you might miss it. You might even eat shit in front of everyone and get tumbled under the surf.

But you learn a valuable lesson — and you get back up on the board and try again.

And when everything comes together and you catch the wave, stand up, and ride it into shore, it’s the best feeling in the world.

That’s your big payday: when you take the risk, survey the market, find your wave, position yourself accordingly, and finally make some outsize returns.

But the most important part of it all is learning from others — probably why you’re still reading our missives here at Outsider Club.

When you paddle out in a group of experienced surfers, you have to follow surfing etiquette lest you get the dreaded “stink eye.”

Never cut in line, wait for your turn, don’t drop in on someone, and above all... have fun.

None of this is worth it if you’re not having fun.

With investing, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not learning from the best.

I’m talking about elite investors with a track record of outsize success.

In fact, I’ve identified five traders that are absolutely crushing the market and have been for years...

With gains like an average annual return of 797% over the last three years...

A return of 2,748%...

And even an unheard-of 11,193.5%.

These returns are just a walk in the park for these "Super-Traders."

Learn how you can access their portfolios and invest alongside them here.

Stay frosty,

So how can you start your journey into the world of AI?

Well, it’s actually much easier than you might think.

Start with the basic AI-powered language models like ChatGPT.

ChatGPT can help with different tasks, from answering questions to generating content. Using it is as easy as using Google Search or any other search engine.

Next, you might try AI image generators like Dall-E. These programs simply generate images and art from a description you give them. Dall-E is no longer free, but there are multiple other websites that will allow you to try out their text-to-image generating for free. Fotor.com and DeepAI.org are just two.

After you’ve played around with AI image generators, you might even try AI video generation. This is pretty much the same as an image generator except the output is audio and video. You can try this for free on several different websites, including Heygen.com and Kapwing.com.

Now, you should know that playing around with these is probably not going to offer many immediate benefits.

However, being comfortable using AI programs is going to become absolutely critical in the very near future.

Looking back in time again, in the late 1980s, people needed to learn how to use a computer mouse. Computer engineers came up with a clever trick. They preloaded two games onto early Windows operating systems: Minecraft and Solitaire.

However, computer engineers didn’t install these games as time-wasters. They specifically put Minecraft and Solitaire on early computers to teach people how to use a mouse.

Players learned to left-click, right-click, and drag objects in Solitaire, all while enjoying a game of cards. Meanwhile, in Minecraft, users navigated a blocky world, mining resources and constructing structures, mastering the nuances of mouse control along the way. These games made it fun to learn the ins and outs of left-clicking, right-clicking, and dragging objects. As we fast-forward to today, early AI programs like those I discussed above are stepping into a similar role, getting us ready for the ever-changing digital world.

Don’t wait.

The most valuable investment you can make is in yourself.

Learn everything you can about AI now.

Until next time,

Luke Burgess

After all, each of these drones has not just been tested at a training ground somewhere, it has been tested in a real war. I am sure the Ukrainian experience of drone usage in this war will be studied by other countries in the future."

Indeed, Ukraine has acquired the kind of experience and success that could well make it a world leader in UAV production.

Just to highlight a few examples…

Last week, Ukrainian Shark drones uncovered about a half dozen surface-to-air missile (SAM) batteries in the hotly contested Zaporizhzhia region.

Within a few minutes, they were targeted and destroyed by U.S.-supplied HIMARS (High-Mobility Artillery Rocket System).

Sharks are 100% manufactured in Ukraine. They have a range of 50 miles, have a maximum speed of 80 mph, and can fly for four hours at a time.

They’re also highly resistant to countermeasures, which means they can collect and relay intelligence through electronic disruptions like jamming.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian Beaver drones have been menacing Moscow with kamikaze attacks on government office buildings.

These are small drones with a range of more than 600 miles, and they’ve been able to either overwhelm or slip past Russian border defenses to do their dirty work.

Seaborne or marine drones have been a factor, too.

Now, it’s no secret that energy stocks have absolutely destroyed the market since COVID hit.

The S&P 500 Energy ETF has shot up a whopping 167% since 2021.That’s due in part to rising energy costs and increased demand.

Suffice it to say, energy is where the money’s being made right now.

And it’s not slowing down anytime soon.

Household energy demand is set to rise 20% in 30 years’ time. And with the industrial sector accounting for roughly one-third of energy consumption, we need all sorts of power, big and small.

Look, whether we like it or not, the U.S. is turning away from fossil fuels like oil and gas.

From day one, the Biden administration has waged a war on drilling, which led to a tightening of oil supply, which in turn raised prices — and we’ve got to get used to this new reality unless we drill our massive oil reserves, which seems unlikely anytime soon.

Even so, energy investors have done well while getting killed at the pump.

Also, by now we’ve tried renewables like wind and solar, but they haven’t performed as advertised.

They’re expensive, slow, and inefficient.

That’s where nuclear power comes into play.

It has the potential to solve all the aforementioned problems with our current energy crisis.

We can see the demand increasing by following the money.

Navigating the Atomic Opportunity

One area of investment is uranium and uranium miners.

This is because the nuclear industry, once viewed with skepticism, is experiencing a revival as governments and industries seek to reduce carbon emissions.

Now, the uranium market has experienced volatility over the years, especially after the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, when uranium prices plummeted due to safety concerns and reactor shutdowns.

However, prices have stabilized and are making a move to the upside. According to The Conversation, “The primary fuel for nuclear plants was sliding for much of the 2010s, with no signs of a major turnaround. Yet since mid-August, prices have surged by around 60% as investors and speculators scramble to snap up the commodity.”

Now, remember, uranium is an element that must be mined. Only after it’s enriched does it become uranium-235, which is used in the nuclear reactor in the form of pellets. Using fusion, the uranium heats up and releases vast amounts of energy.

One positive here is that this process does not produce greenhouse gas emissions during electricity generation, making it an attractive option for governments and regulators seeking to reduce carbon footprints.

It only makes sense that as more countries invest in nuclear technology, the demand for uranium is expected to rise.

According to World Nuclear News, a recent edition of the World Nuclear Association's Nuclear Fuel Report stated that nuclear is on a path to positive long-term growth.

This bodes well for investors in the technology — if they believe its use should be expanded...

Nuclear Stocks

Here are three popular nuclear energy plays that you can buy on the U.S. market today:

The pick-and-shovel play of the bunch is Cameco Corp. (NYSE: CCJ), which is predominantly involved in the uranium mining and nuclear fuel services industry. It plays a crucial role in the supply chain for nuclear power generation, offering a variety of services related to uranium processing and fuel manufacturing, while also contributing to the global nuclear energy sector's sustainability and growth. It’s one of the largest uranium producers in the world, mining millions of pounds of high-grade uranium. It pays a small 0.24% dividend.

Constellation Energy (NASDAQ: CEG) is the largest nuclear power provider in the U.S., producing more carbon-free energy than its peers. Constellation owns and operates a diverse portfolio of power plants, including natural gas, nuclear, and other renewable energy facilities, generating electricity for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. The company is actively involved in renewable energy generation, offering options for customers to purchase electricity from renewable sources like wind and solar, and it also provides renewable energy certificates (RECs) to help businesses meet sustainability goals. It pays a 1.03% dividend.

Dominion Energy (NYSE: D) generates, transmits, and distributes electricity and natural gas. It operates power generation facilities in the U.S., making electricity using natural gas, coal, nuclear, and renewable energy sources like wind and solar. The company reportedly uses earnings from the non-renewables and invests in renewables. A stalwart in the industry, Dominion pays a solid 5.8% dividend.

As good as these companies are, they’ll soon be buying a new, more efficient kind of fuel for the reactors.

Why?

Because one company has developed a breakthrough fuel that enhances the performance and safety of nuclear reactors.

This new generation of fuel is set to snag market share, with nearly $2 trillion expected to flood in.

And it doesn’t stop at nuclear reactors.

A stack of this fuel could power your home for LIFE!

It could generate power for the cars of the future...

And run entire gigafactories and fuel-chugging steel plants all on its own.

Oppenheimer’s got nothing on this...

Stay frosty,

But Russia’s struggles aren’t.

The country is running low on troops, morale, and, most importantly, munitions.

Indeed, Russia has gotten so desperate for ammo that Vladimir Putin himself has had to go panhandling to North Korea.

He’s set to host Kim Jong Un later this month to ask for artillery shells and anti-tank missiles.

To be frank, cozying up to a tin-pot dictator and international pariah like Kim Jong Un is as pathetic as it gets. No self-respecting global leader would do it.

But Putin doesn’t really have a choice. He’s just that desperate.

His invasion of Ukraine is hanging on by a thread and so is he.

Of course, the munitions shortage has been a factor on both sides.

Ukraine is expending anywhere from 4,000–7,000 artillery shells each day, and Russia’s figures are no doubt similar.

This is why the United States sent cluster bombs to Ukraine. That was somewhat controversial because not every explosive in the cluster actually explodes.

So when the fighting is done you can be left with a field littered with live explosives.

On the other hand, Russia has seeded Ukraine with so many land mines that the threat of dormant cluster bombs is pretty mild by comparison.

Russia has buried 1.1 land mine per square meter across its defensive front. So if you have a 100 square meters, you’ll find something like 110 land mines in it.

That’s why the Ukrainian counteroffensive has been so sluggish. They were literally tiptoeing through minefields before cluster bombs helped blow them up.

Regardless, the level of ammunition that’s been expended over the past year and a half is astounding. And the side that can best keep up with demand will likely win out over time.

But while Vladimir Putin is begging Kim Jong Un for mortars, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has a higher-quality benefactor in the United States.

On Wednesday, the Pentagon announced it’d be sending another $175 million worth of military aid Ukraine’s way.

It’s quite a bundle — one that includes ammunition for High-Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and Abrams tanks that were sent over earlier this year.

There’s also been a concerted effort to ramp up munitions production, which is a lot easier when you have a network of capable allies, as opposed to economic sanctions.

The Army recently announced plans to manufacture more than 1 million artillery shells per year by 2025.

That’s big news for General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), in particular.

GD makes 155 mm artillery shells, as well as key propellant and propulsion chemicals like ball powder propellants and artillery propelling charges.

It makes shells at its Ordnance and Tactical Systems facility in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and it fills them at a government facility in Iowa.

And now the Army is collaborating with GD on another manufacturing facility in Garland, Texas.

Meanwhile, Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and RTX (NYSE: RTX) are set to build a Javelin plant in Poland.

Indeed, the Javelin anti-tank missile was widely lauded for its effectiveness in neutralizing Russian armor battalions at the war’s outset.

Now everybody wants them.

Beyond that, Lockheed Martin also builds Black Hawk helicopters in Poland.

It assembles F-35s in Italy and Japan and recently announced a deal that will see Rheinmetall manufacture fuselages for the stealth fighters in Germany.

So there’s a massive build-out going on, and investors should act accordingly.

However, if you really want to profit from the most advanced military and defense technology, you should check out Secret Stock Files.

I cover all the most cutting-edge stuff there.

Fight on,

Today, commercial production relies one of two methods to produce lithium:

Evaporative ponds: Producers slowly concentrate lithium in ponds as evaporation takes place.

Lithium mines: Producers remove waste rock (overburden) to uncover the lithium host rock and dispose of the overburden in waste dumps. Lithium-bearing rock is mined, crushed, milled, and processed to produce a lithium concentrate and a tailings stream.

Lithium mining via evaporative ponds presents several significant challenges. First, it requires a vast amount of water, which contributes to water scarcity issues and environmental concerns. Moreover, this method is very time-consuming, taking up to two years to concentrate lithium-rich brine into a final commercial product.

Mining lithium through traditional rock mining also presents its set of challenges. It often requires significant amounts of energy and resources to extract lithium from ores, contributing to higher production costs and environmental impacts. Additionally, the mining process can generate substantial waste and emissions, further straining ecosystems and raising concerns about sustainability.

And that’s where a technology known as direct lithium extraction (DLE) has emerged as a crucial solution to address these challenges.

DLE: Meeting Lithium Supply Demands

Direct lithium extraction is swiftly revolutionizing the lithium industry, ushering in a new era of enhanced efficiency and improved cost-effectiveness.

In short, direct lithium extraction uses specialized materials and methods to selectively capture lithium ions from lithium-rich brine solutions deep underground.

Following this capture, the lithium is then separated and concentrated to create a high-purity lithium product suitable for various industrial applications.

Direct Lithium Extraction Model

DLE offers a lot of advantages over current mining processes, including reduced environmental impact and higher lithium yields.

One of the most compelling advantages of DLE is higher recovery rates. Evaporation ponds typically recover between 30% and 60% of the lithium in the brine. On average, lithium from ore mines tends to have a slightly higher recovery rate of up to 70%. But the company’s DLE technology blows them both out of the water with lithium recovery rates over 90%.

DLE technology can also recover lithium in minutes rather than months. As mentioned before, it can take up to two years for brine to concentrate into a final product at lithium evaporation ponds. This remarkable efficiency positions DLE as a game-changing solution to rapidly meet the escalating demand for lithium resources.

Additionally, DLE plants require a far smaller land footprint than evaporative ponds or rock mining operations, making them a more environmentally friendly and space-efficient choice for lithium production.

What’s more, DLE technology can tap into untapped lithium deposits. This capability to unlock previously inaccessible lithium reserves ushers in new opportunities for lithium production, diminishing the industry's reliance on finite sources.

One last standout feature of DLE technology is its modular design, which allows for flexible and scalable production setups. This adaptability and compatibility with existing infrastructure make DLE a practical and strategic choice for both emerging and established lithium operations.

Comparison of Lithium Extraction Methods

In conclusion, direct lithium extraction is poised to revolutionize the lithium industry, offering tangible benefits in the form of reduced emissions, water conservation, and access to previously untapped resources.

With its cost-competitive nature, scalability, and minimal environmental impact, DLE emerges as a game-changing force that aligns seamlessly with the global demand for sustainable and efficient energy solutions.

As this technology continues to mature and gain wider adoption, it holds the promise of reshaping the global lithium landscape for the better, contributing to a more sustainable and electrified future.

Curious to learn more?

My colleague Alex Koyfman has recently uncovered one company that’s pioneering this new DLE method and already has a contract with a Canadian oil and gas producer to process the brine ponds located on a 671-square-mile property in northwest Alberta.

On this property is an estimated 4.3 million tons of lithium carbonate, worth as much as $322 billion at today’s market prices.

This company estimates that it can produce up to 20,000 tons annually at a cost of $3,000–$4,000 per ton of salable lithium. At the going rate of $70,000 per ton, this presents a huge upside potential, with revenues in the billions of dollars once production ramps up.

Alex just published a brand-new report that discusses everything.
