Germany Repatriating Gold From NY, Paris 'In Case Of A Currency Crisis'

Japan's 'beginning of the economic end'

U.S. should heed the UK's economic woes

[U.S.] GPD reverses course into negative territory

Why Currency Wars Might Be Coming

What all those headlines should read is: “Attention: Time to Get Your Sh*t Together!”

Because that's what it all boils down to, the real message behind these events — which, by the way, are not mutually exclusive...

Global currency woes, central bank distrust, and gold repatriation are all intertwined in a complicated web of fraud, bad policy, and consumer faith.

The good news is these events all impact the physical market for precious metals in a profound way.

That said, it's time we revisit an important history lesson in order to plot our next move as investors.

Portugal's Lost Gold

Back in 1990, Drexel Burnham Lambert — once the fifth-largest Wall Street investment bank — filed for bankruptcy as a result of illegal activities in the junk bond market. Michael Milken was blamed for the high-risk junk bond trades and the ultimate demise of Drexel.

What most of those people didn't know at the time was that Portugal's central bank had loaned 17 tons of gold to Drexel. When the bank failed at the hands of scheming banksters, Portugal's gold holdings were washed away, unable to be reclaimed.

Imagine Portugal's dismay and frustration at having to learn the hard way that you can't trust big banks. (And it could have much far worse — gold was trading around $380/oz then, as opposed to today's price of $1,660/oz.)

This time, people are invested. People are paying attention.

And the scenario for gold is changing across the globe...

According to Keith Barron, geologist and consultant responsible for one of the largest gold discoveries in 25 years:

I believe that most of the Western world’s gold, which is supposed to be in central bank vaults, has been leased out. Much of it is now in private hands in India, and what remains continues going East to China and other Asian vaults. So most of the Western gold has vanished from the vaults and it’s now just a book entry. These various Western countries and bullion banks simply roll these leases over when they come due, and the gold never gets returned back to the countries.

So it’s very interesting to see what’s going on. Obviously the trust is breaking down in the system.

The yellow metal is looking better by the day.

Germany Won't be Duped

When it comes to Germany's gold reserves, the Germans won't be taken for the same ride Portugal endured in the 90s. That's why Germany is demanding their gold holdings be returned from the central bank in New York.

Germany is shaking up the gold market in a major way, the likes of which we've never seen before.

If you're smart, you'll keep your eyes glued to gold's every move in the aftermath...

Events like this are historically bullish for gold.

Hitler's Gift to You?

During World War II, Adolf Hitler used a mysterious fuel to power half of Germany's war machine.

The facilities that produced this strange fuel were destroyed by American bombers.

After the war, U.S. Army Intelligence investigated this unique fuel industry.

Oddly enough, the U.S. Air Force is now using it in its fleet of B-52 bombers.

It's cheaper than regular jet fuel (and cleaner, too). Now, it's about to power over 10 million U.S. automobiles per year. And it could make early investors rich.

Investors were presented with some good buying opportunities following a few shortfalls this past week after analysts used technical analysis and global events to validate gold's long-term potential in lieu of recent price dips.

Previously-sagging prices are already beginning to spring up again on “dovish remarks” from the Fed on Wednesday.

Top that off with a negative GDP, and it sounds like a further dose of quantitative easing is imminent.

We've been beating this drum for some time, but it seems as relevant a message now as ever: Protect your wealth and hedge inflation as the Fed fires up the printing presses for a fourth time.

Maintain a personal stash of silver and gold.

The unfortunate truth is Germany can't stop the banks from ongoing deception scams, shameless lies, fiat currency scams, or bailout manipulations...

But the investment culture has shifted. Big bank trust is headed toward extinction. Taxpayers are fed up with the fact that the government continues to protect these institutions. And thanks to Germany's aggressive demands, the government and the Fed alike are losing their power to keep people in the dark.

Smart investors are finally motivated and angry enough to to take matters into their own hands — by going after the only thing they know the government can't create more of: precious metals.

Best wishes for a prosperous future,

Everybody lived happily ever after... except the rest of us. What you can do to protect yourself and your wealth as history is about to repeat itself.
It's a sunny, 17-degree day in Baltimore, a day best spent with a hot cup of coffee and Frontline. After all, I owe it to myself and to my readers to try to make sense of this madness...

How could the White House, our elected officials, our government leaders — the very ones we voted for to uphold the truths and values necessary so that we may continue living our lives with the freedoms our forefathers worked so hard to attain — protect these criminals?

Why are innocent taxpayers and what's left of the disappearing private sector forced to pay up?

Why are their mistakes now our burden?

They are those who have committed the most shameful and globally debilitating acts of fraud, yet not a single one of them has been prosecuted.

They are Wall Street.

When I was in high school, my coworker stole a pair of jeans from the local mall and was arrested, banned from the store, publicly shamed, and fired from her retail job.

In a free society, punishment is the only way to maintain order. In a free society where money is king, punishment for financial criminals should be a bedrock for the system.

Evidently, the Obama administration isn't too concerned with maintaining a functioning and fair financial realm. Better to let ordinary Americans suffer than piss off the guys with the money.

Taxpayers Left to Pick Up the Pieces

No one should have the power to completely destroy the financial system of the United States, much less the entire world. “That doesn't happen if there isn't something bad going on,” Senator Ted Kaufman said a few years ago.

Something bad IS going on...

It's called fraud.

In the thick of the financial disaster several years back, homeowners were either duped or duping mortgage loan lenders. One contract worker who was a due diligence underwriter responsible for assessing the risk of buying loan portfolios said "anything went."

The bankers didn't care what happened with those unsustainable loans. The head honchos received $36B in bonuses one year, only to demand billions in bailout money from taxpayers shortly thereafter.

Abominable.

Shooting Fish in Barrel

Apparently, it's easy to toss the word "fraud" around — but not so easy to prosecute it.

The FBI and Department of Justice were able to respond merely by “shooting fish in a barrel,” according to Christopher Cruise, loan officer and trainer from 1990-2008.

Dozens of small mortgage brokers, loan appraisers, and even home buyers were arrested... but not a single banker or Wall Street exec was convicted of these crimes.

Wall Street won. The government won. Everybody lived happily ever after...

Except the rest of us.

History to Repeat Itself

Five years have passed, and we're finally beginning to feel the weight of the bankers' burdens.

The debt limit drama is a direct effect of the economic calamity initiated by the criminal bankers on Wall Street. And this is only the beginning...

Obama plans to raise the debt limit through another executive order, disregarding the obvious risk factors. The government will win again and Wall Street will stay afloat — all thanks to taxpayers like you and me.

Not to fear; the Fed will print more money to give us an illusion of wealth in these trying times.

But keep in mind the Fed was created by the very same banking criminals who got us in this unfortunate state of affairs.

Neither organization is looking out for you.

Fiat currency is not wealth.

It will not suddenly create more soybeans, iPads, or Honda Accords. As Ron Paul so acutely stated, it merely exists to “strengthen a fantasy balance sheet” as part of the grand illusion.

Unless you're a Wall Street executive, a member of Congress, or a part of Obama's administration, you're going to need to get your retirement savings out of their greedy reach.

Take back some control and exercise your right to the pursuit of happiness with REAL wealth.

We recommend buying precious metals, hiding them, and keeping them safe.

Every investor should read this and exercise his/her rights to private ownership while that privilege is still an option.
The holidays are over, winter storms are setting in, and cabin fever has many of us suffering from winter blues.

To break out of the seasonal slump, I decided to plan a weekend snowboarding trip. When I checked my online bank account to pay mid-month bills and put some cash aside for the trip, I saw it: my first paycheck of the year — with a 2% pay cut, courtesy of the federal government.

Happy New Year to you jerks, too!

No wonder everyone's feeling a little dismal these days.

The root of the winter blues...

On January 2, 2013, Obama signed the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 into law.

This essentially translates to tax rates increasing for almost everyone — whether it's income tax rates for the wealthy, or employee and Social Security tax rate hikes for working individuals.

Bottom line: Taxpayers are giving back a lot more than their “fair share” to the government leech this year.

So the least productive Congressional unit since the 1940s is being rewarded for underperformance, while the rest of us are receiving hundreds of dollars less each month — and, worse yet, risking termination at companies forced to downgrade due to economic turmoil.

National polls show Congress has a historical disapproval rating of 85%, yet Obama is still rewarding them with raises. The average lawmaker received a pay increase of just $900.

The Public Policy Polling just released a shocking report outlining just how unpopular Congress has become — outranking cockroaches, traffic jams, and even the notoriously-detested band Nickelback in popularity.

And our elected officials aren't winning any approval ratings with the latest news from the Midwest...

New bill threatens your rights to precious metals.

Legislatures in Illinois have introduced the “Precious Metal Purchasing Act.”

Critics argue the act violates certain liberties by enforcing new rules, regulations, and even fees for precious metal purchasers.

According to Gary North with the Tea Party Economist, the new bill means precious metal purchasers would be required to obtain proof of ownership, create a record of the sale, and verify the identity of the seller — or face civil penalties.

Additionally, buyers would not be allowed to pay for the precious metals in cash, but would be required to properly document the alternative method of payment.

Essentially, all gold and silver purchases amounting to $500 or more would be tracked for up to five years and monitored with rules subjecting buyers to fines if they don't adhere to the new strict legislation.

At this time, the fate of the bill remains in the hands of the House.

This is sad news for private gold and silver owners — and sadder yet for American freedom fighters — because this proposal has taken the government one step closer to the legal ability to confiscate your precious meals, as well as your home and farmland.

Now, I want to end this piece on a positive note by saying this isn’t the end...

On the contrary, this is the dawn of a new way of thinking to support a better way of investing and of protecting our wealth and our families.

We must be comfortable with self-reliance and confident and ready to do our own due diligence. And investors must educate and inform themselves on the "system" if they're going to try to beat it and truly grow and protect personal wealth.

One way to do this effectively is by picking up on macro trends before Wall Street does — and hedging inflation in innovative ways.

We've been holding on to the hope that Congress and our country's leaders have our best interest at hearts — that they are working tirelessly to find a solution to ease the pain the threats to our livelihoods and our rights as citizens have been facing... but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Lemmings are investors that jump aboard the bandwagon that's about to topple. Meanwhile, the successful elite are already off the bandwagon — ready to exit a stock that's finally broke the news on Wall Street.

This year vow to stay ahead of the curve and learn to identify trends in the making. That, my friends, could make all the difference.

Pay attention to the people around you: What are your coworkers talking about? What new products are they buying? What's the hottest new book, and what company is planning on turning it into a movie? What are retailers struggling to keep in stock this season?

These aren't trite details. No, these are the small signals of what will directly impact the larger market and open new doors of opportunity, regardless of the shape the economy is in.

Move Over, Wall Street

Chris Camillo forever changed his financial future using thais simple methodology.

He's not a financial analyst or a stockbroker or a hedge fund manager; he's just an ordinary investor, like you and me. What makes him extraordinary is that he has effectively retrained his mind to “identify game-changing things in real life that were having game-changing impacts on publicly-traded companies.”

The trick is to notice things that Wall Street hasn't picked up on. Therein lies the key to grand investment success.

That's precisely what Camillo did — and what enabled him to turn $20K into $2 million from 2007 to 2010, some of the worst years in recorded history for the stock market (and overall economy, no less).

Camillo reminds investors: “Sometimes it's not what you invest in, it's what you don't invest in, and I only make one or two big trades a year. I think my story just proves that there's never a bad time to make a great investment.”

One real-life example Camillo uses to explain how he uses normal facets of everyday life to make game-changing investment decisions involves the wildly popular Hunger Games books.

Listening to co-workers and children rave about the books, Camillo knew Lions Gate Entertainment (LGF) would explode once they decided to make movies based on the books... The stock doubled within six months — but Wall Street lagged too far behind to pick up and profit from the story.

“Invest with Conviction”

Camillo says this is also a fundamental aspect of successful investors, to invest with confidence.

Find something material, find something big, and go for it. It's time you had the last laugh.

Learn more about Chris Camillo's investing secrets and success in his book, Laughing at Wall Street.

Take a deep breath and learn more about three things you need to know to prosper in the New Year.
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” — Benjamin Franklin

Successful investors consistently have one thing in common...

Knowledge is the only effective tool to acquire and maintain lasting wealth, power, and status.

If you want to gamble blindly in hopes of coming out on top of this recession, spend a weekend in Las Vegas...

But if you'd prefer to build sustainable wealth for you and your loved ones, keep reading.

Don't Give Up

We know 2012 hasn't been an easy year for investors. A tumultuous economy, dismal job numbers, quantitative easing, and the presidential election have all exhausted an already volatile market.

And although we regret to admit that the end of the year will not end any differently, we also know how to deal with the chaos...

Fiscal cliff and Fed fears must be set aside in order to get to the heart of the matter: knowing how to effectively save for retirement in lieu of the safe asset shortage.

Buy the Fear

Now is the time to buy safe assets at an affordable rate.

Planning for retirement is a lot like planning for your first child in that you truly have no idea what to expect. Life is full of risk and unexpected trials and tribulations.

It's human nature to hedge that risk in as many ways as possible.

Cushion Your Portfolio Promptly

As much as any expert can predict the future, unforeseen dilemmas are unavoidable. You've got to prepare for everything and anything. And if you wait until the last minute, you will most likely find yourself overwhelmed with information you'll need to sift through in order to make decisions.

Investors know they'll need a cushion for the long and bumpy roads that lie ahead. That's why they're hedging with gold, silver, real estate, various insurance policies, equities, bonds, even canned food.

We at Wealth Daily are here to educate you step by step along the way... as this fiscal cliff debate plays out, as Obama enacts stronger federal gun control laws, as gold and silver rally amidst manipulation speculation, and as select equities rally nicely for the years to come...

Whatever happens, we'll be ready. Because we're paying particular attention to what the government is saying and doing.

We hear them loud and clear, and we're acting accordingly right now...

$1 Million on Just 11 Trades

Thanks to a dispatch that circulated in 2011, the story of a man who made $1 million on his first 11 trades ever was made public.

His name is Jack Ratcliffe, and he's now a millionaire thanks to an overlooked stock market strategy.

And while you might not make $1 million as quickly as Jack did, you can use the very same secret to make incredible stock market gains over and over again.

The full details (including Jack's story) are revealed for the first time in this FREE video.

Here are a three things you can do:

Go alternative. High-risk investment inevitably yields higher returns. For example, mutual funds that invest in a mix of high-yield bonds, dividend-paying stocks, and emerging markets or mortgage-backed securities can help pave a solid foundation towards wealth. This explains why gold and silver rallies are off the charts in time of recession and depression: They offer substantive gains that can be difficult to find elsewhere in uncertain market conditions.

Go long. If you invest in bonds with longer maturities, you'll generate greater returns. As long as interest rates remain historically low, this is a safe bet. Bernanke has said they will not even reach 1% until at least 2017. It's time to buy.

Buy liquid asserts. You always want to invest in some things you can sell at a moment's notice or use in exchange for goods and services without taking a loss or offering a discount on price. An added bonus here is that they have no credit risk. These assets are a little less attractive than some alternative options because they sometimes pay less than inflation, but they always pay what they say they will.

It's no secret that it's best to diversify your portfolio, but it's equally important to understand how you should do this.

That's why we're recommending this mix of alternative investment options — especially gold and silver, given the economy today and the fact that we live in a world rife with bank-rigging and metal manipulation — bonds with long maturities, and liquid assets.

Gold is now widely accepted as the No. 1 liquid “anti-crash insurance” asset to possess in 2013. And pay attention to silver, because the white metal has the potential to take gold's spotlight by year's end due to a unique supply crisis.

A final note before a week of celebrations with family...

And the silver bull market is just getting started.
Years ago, it was reported that nearly 1,500 sheep jumped off a cliff in Turkey after the leader of the flock leaped to his death.

More than four hundred sheep met their demise blindly following the single ram leading the needy flock. Those that were spared landed safely on the hundreds of wool bodies covering the ground.

As human beings, we can't seem to make sense of this absurd activity...

But in fact, we overlook the reality that many people — including we ourselves, at times — mimic the behavior of the faithful sheep.

It's as simple as relying on the “wise words” of the Federal Reserve, greedy policymakers, and corrupt CEOs to guide us in the right direction...

Meanwhile, we're scarcely paying attention to the dangerous path (in our case, the fiscal cliff) ahead.

We're one step away from following the herd in a downward spiral of bad investments.

Don't Trust Them

Not all expert opinions are created equal. A biased opinion generally stems from an ulterior motive or a hidden agenda, and an insider's prejudice can be an outsider's worst nightmare when it comes to investing.

Today I want to focus on these issues, because I think it's important for outsiders to have an educated edge when it comes to battling with big-time corporate CEOs and other rich entities that want to stay that way at all costs — no matter what this means for individual investors like you and me.

This week Briton Ryle talked about Goldman Sachs and mentioned they had publicly announced gold's market was finally drawing to a close, and investors should prepare accordingly.

Interestingly enough, the equally esteemed Morgan Stanley group announced their belief that gold and silver will be the best commodities to possess in 2013.

Who to believe?

I urge you to proceed with caution when seeking answers to your investing questions.

It's a volatile world out there, and at the end of the day, multi-million- and multi-billion-dollar companies only care about their bottom lines, regardless of how well competing sectors are doing.

When their worries grown about the state of the market, well, that's when they'll try the hardest to keep you buying their stocks...

That's why Goldman is publicly shorting gold — so they can buy it themselves at a cheaper rate when the sell-off ensues.

Let them tell people to back off gold — just make sure you take advantage for your own portfolio.

If Goldman's announcement does lead to any sort of sizable sell-off, you can capitalize on the same opportunity Goldman hopes to capitalize on by buying more gold.

A Second Look at Gold's "Ugly Sister"

If you're still hesitant on the gold front, a silver investment will also be advantageous.

An unprecedented supply crisis in the silver market is looming as investors are now buying 53% times more silver than gold.

However, the available silver for investment versus gold for investment ratio stands at 7:1.

Silver is in a critical position right now. There's only a short time remaining before a serious silver shift comes our way.

Learn more about the best way to invest in "gold's ugly sister" before this bull market explodes in 2013.

Remember, you have the choice to not let politicians, institutions, or "too big to fail" corporations dictate your financial decisions. You can decide not to be a sheep.

If you're looking for unbiased market analysis and information, you can find it in these pages every week — including intel on the precious metals market in 2013.

Find out who's hoarding the most and how the U.S. government is trying to stop them.
You've been reading about gold and guns ever since the election results were in...

The two are certainly not mutually exclusive; charts for both are hyperbolic as interest in physical bullion soars harmoniously with record-breaking gun sales.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Individuals are hungry for wealth in these poverty-stricken times — and nations are hungry for certainty, a way to protect their economy from currency debasement.

People are stocking up on gold and guns to protect their families and their wealth.

What people haven't been talking about nearly as much is how this mentality has created a burgeoning black market for the precious metals sector.

Capitalists and survivalists alike are making a living the best they can.

For some, this means engaging in illegal mining activities and gold smuggling.

The Philippines and Mongolia are two prime landmasses, rich with minerals and metals...

Miners know this and are taking advantage of the opportunity. Mongolian gold ninjas have risked their lives to engage in one of the most lucrative gold rushes of the century to support the black market demand for gold in China.

The Business Savvy Game

Meanwhile, the Philippine government (much like our own) continues to pass new laws and enforces outrageous taxes to get their “fair share of other people’s sweat, especially related to mining projects.”

After a 7% tax rate was required for precious metal sales last year, smaller producers began selling to black market smugglers instead...

According to Assistant Central Bank Governor Manuel Torres, head of the refinery operations, roughly 95% of all gold mined in the Philippines is being sold to smugglers — and transported out of the country 100% illegally.

Expert Simon Black explains the discrepancy between how much gold smuggling is reported and how much is actually taking place:

In 2011, central bank gold purchases dropped at an annualized rate of 4%, then 76%, then 88% during the second, third, and fourth quarters. In the first quarter of 2012, gold purchases were down 92%. It’s staggering.

Most of this smuggled gold finds its way here to Hong Kong, and then onward to China, where there is a voracious demand for gold despite rising prices.

Of course, it’s perfectly legal to bring gold, tax-free, into Hong Kong.

This is why when Hong Kong reports its official trade statistics, "gold imports" from the Philippines are 30 times higher than what the Philippines government reports as "gold exports" to Hong Kong.

Yet it charges no management fees, and there’s no advertising, either.

Go here now to get in on this amazing story.

Nations like China, India, and Iran have been stockpiling silver and gold at unprecedented levels to protect their economies from the looming crisis.

This hasn't been easy with Western sanctions, but billions' worth of silver and gold has been shipped to Dubai on behalf of Iranian buyers — $2 billion worth of gold was shipped to Dubai in August alone.

Experts believe an undisclosed, but quite large, number of carriers are behind the smuggling arrangement.

Obviously, the U.S. isn't happy about this...

The government is in the midst of setting up new sanctions against Iran that could force Turkey to end their “gold deal” with Iran.

Due to global economic uncertainty, Iran demanded back in February that Turkey pay for international goods solely in gold. So far Turkey has complied, exporting “massive quantities of gold” per their deal with Iran.

Between January and September 2012, Turkey exported at least $6.4 billion in gold to Iran (and that's only what was officially reported). Iran has Turkey pigeonholed into this agreement, as it supplies 18% of Turkey's gas and 51% of the country's oil.

Evidently, raging gold demand is creating a supply crunch that has nations desperate for deposits and mines.

A number of international deals are under way, and a public rush for the yellow metal will clear retailers' shelves in no time.

This is only the beginning...

Best wishes for a prosperous future,

Don't let them be the only ones to pocket profits in these uncertain times. Here's what you must do before the New Year...
The countdown has begun...

Automatic spending cuts amounting to a staggering $1.2 trillion are just one month away, set to begin on January 2.

The ominous fiscal cliff has officially become a probable reality.

Obama met with over a dozen CEOs this week to discuss possible alternatives, however our country's leaders are stuck in a debilitating stalemate.

Jim Cramer is telling the American people, “We're done. We're going over the fiscal cliff.”

Merry Christmas from the Government!

Cramer's right. If an alternative agreement is not reached in the next 30 days, the Budget Control Act of 2011 requires these reductions are effective immediately after the New Year.

This isn't something that will be resolved in one fell swoop; it's going to take place over an entire decade.

Defense spending will be slashed by about 9.4% amongst sizable cuts in a variety of other federal programs.

Meanwhile, middle class taxes will rise about $2,200 per family.

From talking with numerous people — co-workers, friends, family, acquaintances — it seems no one knows what this really means for them... and no one is truly prepared for the butterfly effects of this generation's financial disaster.

Guns and Gold

On Black Friday, gun sellers reported record sales as calls “came in so fast and furious” that the FBI centers responsible for handling requests for background checks actually crashed twice on November 23.

The Bureau said it answered 20% more calls than its record year on Black Friday 2011.

While gun sales were launching, the yellow metal saw a big sell-off this week as gold fell to $1,705/oz before bouncing back.

If you want to keep your confidence up, you had better keep your gold holdings up.

In case you haven't noticed, gold's having a good month — and I expect it to remain so through December...

Christian DeHaemer recommends buying gold between Christmas and the New Year, due to tax selling. And come January 2013, gold is set to double when new banking rules that give it the same status as cash go into effect.

Our team of analysts at Wealth Daily sees the financial system for what it really is today — not what we wish it was. We see the big-picture problems associated with a slowing global economy.

Meantime, Uncle Sam's headed to hell in a handbasket. The U.S. is literally falling apart: at least 40 states have already signed a petition to secede from the Union.
I know you've been waiting on pins and needles for some good news...

And I'll be the first to apologize, because I don't have any today.

Statistics show China and India threaten to outperform the U.S. economy, and our own constituents are threatening to secede in rebellion.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) estimates China could be the largest economy in the world by the end of Obama's second term.

Senior Economist Asa Johansson said, “It is quite a shift in the balance of economic power we are going to see in the future.”

As China hoards historic volumes of gold, experts speculate it's preparing for a gold-backed renminbi. Could a new global currency fall into our laps as the dollar crumbles?

It's not a far-fetched possibility anymore, especially as America's wealthiest make plans to emigrate to avoid looming tax increases and overall system abuse from national leaders...

Since the election, at least 40 states have already signed petitions to formally secede from the United States of America. According to the We The People section of the White House's official website, Texas has the most signatures for secession: over 100,000 as of Thursday.

These petitioners represent a growing movement unified by a desire to leave the U.S. and peacefully form a new government that isn't drowning in debt due to federal overspending. Everyday life is difficult enough without irresponsible government intervention.

The Federal Reserve's method of replacing currency with a cheap look-alike and forcing citizens to use it is a tyrannical move, one that Americans are not happy about.

It seems people would rather flee than stay on a sinking ship. Freedom doesn't feel so “free” when debt is keeping people in shackles...

Ex-patriot Michael Fielding explains why he's leaving the facade of freedom that America represents:

At first glance, you look like the greatest of all social systems. You seem like a stable and sturdy structure. People look at you and see strength. They see freedom and opportunity, democracy, and unity... but a peek behind the curtain reveals a scared old man, desperately trying to maintain an illusion.

Your size and complexity hide a simple truth: that you don’t physically exist. You are nothing more than a system of human interaction; not a thing in and of itself, but the result of a widespread pattern of behavior. You emerge from our beliefs and the actions they compel us to take.

We learn our roles and play them well. The guards act like guards, the judges act like judges, the cops act like cops, and we all pay our taxes. You exist because individuals behave as if you did. Of course this seems patently obvious, but it has some frequently overlooked implications. There is an inherent problem with this sort of system, a cancer written in your genetic code, an inoperable tumor that spells your demise.

The "cancer" Fielding talks about is choice.

Our system only remains in check if the people adhere to a certain pattern of expected behavior.

Hence, our government has essentially coerced affection from constituents...

They've made voters believe they cannot survive without The Establishment.

Don’t believe me? Think the idea of gold going to $16,000/oz. is absurd?

Well, you’re probably not alone. But for those of us who already know how the XL Gold Cycle works, it’s not crazy at all.

Today, it's your turn to see how it works.

Undoubtedly, the government is responsible for the unhealthy web of dependency many families have fallen into over the last fifty years. And in times of desperation, the benefits appear to outweigh costs.

The people's dependency on the government to pay for things like housing, food, health care, and our children's higher education is the reason this nation's unsustainable habits and fundamental flaws are so easily and so often overlooked.

Our nation's debt has already become your debt and your children's' debt.

We must be willing to pay the costs of freedom now, before something drastic happens... before China owns America.

It's time our country's leaders act on what is truly best for the American people — and not merely on their insatiable appetite for unaffordable luxuries — while millions fall into poverty.

Last Friday the yellow metal underwent a significant drop-off.

This week gold immediately surged in response to Obama's victory and went on to hit a two-week high.

The election quickly gave the power (and the pressure) back to Obama... and single-handedly took the pressure off gold.

We're on the cusp of the “heist of the century” — the biggest change to gold since the end of the gold standard in 1971 — but precious metals won't advance as dramatically in this historic climb until closer to Thanksgiving, once people realize what's on the horizon...

Experts predict the best-case scenario is “more of the same stuff” we've seen when it comes to financial reform.

They're anticipating status quo arrangements until January 1. That's when the sh*t will really hit the fan.

By the time New Year's Eve rolls around, you can bet gold owners around the globe will be wishing they had stocked up on more gold. (That's why we so adamantly encouraged you to buy before the election.)

If you didn't heed our advice, don't fret...

You have until the end of the year before the fiscal cliff crisis really explodes into chaos.

That's when the Budget Control Act of 2011 is scheduled to go into effect. Taxes will rise, major Social Security cuts will be made, and budget cuts will ensue, including military spending leading to potential job cuts from worried contractors.

There's no tip-toeing around it: Obama has a growing burden on his shoulders as investors are more concerned than ever.

Congress has been dilly-dallying with this issue for three years — and has yet to roll up their sleeves and reach a sustainable compromise.

The political gridlock could have devastating effects on Americans because the policies under current laws for 2013 would cut gross domestic product by four percentage points in 2013, equating to negative growth and another inevitable recession, according to CBO estimates.

This week Christian DeHaemer explained that although this is all very traumatic, it's undeniably good for gold.

Chris reminded readers that gold rose 9.7% in just nine weeks last time the political class stalled during their debt ceiling debate.

Since history tends to repeat itself, there's cause to anticipate a similar response from the gold market...

Without sustainable levels of debt in Western governments, gold remains the most highly-coveted safe haven asset in what has been coined as "the lost decade" for investors.

How many of you are familiar with the intricacies of the Supreme Court's decision in the 2010 Citizens United case?

Allow me to summarize for those of you who haven't been following this case in the news...

The Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional to ban free speech through the limitation of independent communications by corporations, associations, and unions.

So corporations and labor unions are permitted to spend their own money in support or opposition of political candidates — as long as it is through an independent medium, like television advertisements.

According to the New York Times:

The Citizens United decision did not disturb prohibitions on corporate contributions to candidates, and it did not address whether the government could regulate contributions to groups that make independent expenditures.

The Citizens United ruling did however remove the previous ban on corporations and organizations using their treasury funds for direct advocacy. These groups were freed to expressly endorse or call to vote for or against specific candidates, actions that were previously prohibited.

Unfortunately, these provisions led to some unintended consequences as the public sector was able to manipulate employee pension plans based on the trustees' plans.

Get Angry

You probably already knew that nearly all local, state, and federal employees are required to make mandatory contributions to pension plans in order to keep the benefits of a government job...

But did you know those employees have NO SAY in how those mandatory contributions are invested?

The individuals or body in charge of a particular group's pension plans decide(s) where the employees' money is invested.

Consequently, most pension plans invest heavily in corporate securities. In fact, at least $1.15 trillion of public pensions existing in 2008 laid in corporate stock.

If that's not enough corruption and manipulation to get you fired up, read what Benjamin I. Sachs, professor at Harvard Law School, explains as being the primary problem with this:

Here’s the problem. In its Citizens United decision, the Supreme Court held that companies have a First Amendment right to make electoral expenditures with general corporate treasuries. And they’ve done so, with relish, pouring millions into the political system.

What Citizens United failed to account for, however, is that a significant portion of the money that corporations are spending on politics is financed by equity capital provided by public pension funds — capital contributions that the government requires public employees to finance with their paychecks.

This consequence of Citizens United is perverse: requiring public employees to finance corporate electoral spending amounts to compelled political speech and association, something the First Amendment flatly forbids.

"But That's Unconstitutional!"

Courts have already outlawed a similar practice when it comes to political spending by unions...

Keeping in line with the First Amendment, the Supreme Court ruled it was unlawful for any union to use an employee's public dues for any political agenda if the employee doesn't wish to be a part of that agenda.

Ideally, the same mandates would exist regarding pension funds and corporate politics.

But on October 1, the Supreme Court began its fall session with what many scholars have called a “First Amendment hiatus” — meaning they shied away from further debate directly related to free speech.

For the time being, public pension plans remain vulnerable and violate the First Amendment.

You could be financially supporting a politician you don't even agree with!

And this is only one example of how your pension plan — as well as your inalienable rights — are being threatened...

Secure Your IRA or 401-K With Precious Metals

Security of pensions of all kinds are under attack. When you add politics to the mix, things get even stickier.

These are not issues that will be easily remedied if the trustees have anything to say about it; we all know how loudly money talks.

And sadly, this issue does not rank highly on the Supreme Court's list of priorities right now.

So it's up to YOU to take the reins and make solid plans for retirement savings that you control. Don't rely on a rigged game to pad your retirement.

You'd be smart to secure your IRA or 401(k) with gold and silver. Be sure to buy silver on dips before the next European bailout ensues... and certainly before the polls close next Tuesday.

And keep in mind, precious metals aren't your only retirement savings option...

Hundreds of people (many who are years away from retirement and many who are already retired) are successfully investing in real estate investment trusts (REITs). Their ownership in a company that leases property to some of the world's biggest retailers affords them a check delivered every single month straight to their mailbox.

Besides precious metals, this is one of the safest and most reliable investments you can make in today's volatile market...

Best wishes for a prosperous future,

It's time to capitalize on all the doom and gloom. After all, every billionaire's fortune has to start somewhere...
I learned a new word this week.

scha·den·freu·de (shäd n-froi d ). n. – pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

My coworker and I were discussing the unfortunate state of affairs here in the U.S. and he said to me, “We can always count on Marc Faber for a good dose of schadenfreude.”

It got me thinking about investment strategy, and how there's so much more to it than simply looking at a company's successes and failures.

If you want wealth to last a lifetime, you have to look at the big picture.

Now back to Mr. Faber's role in this puzzle...

Those of you familiar with Faber are aware of his nickname, “Dr. Doom.”

Faber is perhaps known best for his ominous and bold predictions in his Gloom, Boom, and Doom Report. He is also renowned as one of the world's most esteemed and successful investors, a self-made billionaire.

Today I'm going to relay an important message every investor should learn from Faber — and I'm going to explain using current events.

This week Dr. Doom warned investors to prepare for not only a "Fiscal Grand Canyon" at the end of 2012, but he also referenced a debilitating “Colossal Mess” that would ensue following the inevitable breakdown of our financial and political systems in the next five to ten years.

Should you be frightened? Absolutely.

Are we at Wealth Daily a little fearful ourselves? You bet.

But you know what else we are? We're capitalists — and so is Faber.

It should be noted that sometimes fear really is the best guide.

I believe fear is at the heart of every successful investing decision Faber's ever made, and that's a good thing. Throughout history, fear has proved to be one of the most powerful motivators.

Perhaps this is what separates an American capitalist from a German schadenfreuder...

While we pity the misfortune of others, we're not about to fall into a Fiscal Grand Canyon, as he calls it, empty-handed.

This is why we're long on gold.

We're here to help other gold investors understand the risks and rewards associated with various gold investments, large and small.

The world's richest men are playing into this worldwide fear by staying calm and buying the "ultimate bubble" as others panic. They're buying gold because the economy's at a historically low point and hyperinflation appears unavoidable.

Billionaire philanthropist and investor Frank Giustra said it best:

It's the beginning of the end for the U.S. dollar. I don't want to sound apocalyptic, but how else does this end? You have to be on the right side of this trade.

If you want to buy gold cheaply, the markets have provided you with an incredible opportunity in gold juniors.

Back in August, gold regained momentum and miners surged past the price of the yellow metal itself after the previous sell-off...

Christian DeHaemer's article from Thursday (found below) showed you why, as gold continues its upward climb (and trust me, it's got a quite a way to go before someone is able to put an end to the Fed's madness), miners are going up even more because they are leveraged to the price of gold.

There's limited risk and increased reward.

Just make sure you're not investing in gold miners in locations where violent strikes have halted production projects.

Bottom line: Don't fret if you can't afford bullion right now. The juniors have you covered.

Investing in junior gold miners will help pad your portfolio — and it'll certainly lighten a dark future outlook.

Other hard asserts will be advantageous, but nothing will be as good as gold until this vicious money-printing cycle ends.

Best wishes for a prosperous future,

As elite businesses have been coyly preparing for a stock market crash, big banks and wealthy private investors have been stocking up on precious metals to ward off a coming financial apocalypse...

Consequently, the U.S. now faces a huge gold deficit as it has already exported a record 424 metric tonnes of gold this year (this month not included).

This is quite alarming, considering the U.S. exported a grand total of 488 tonnes in the full 12 months of 2011. In the first seven months of the year, the United States ran a shocking 102 metric tonne gold account deficit (even when taking our domestic gold supply and gold imports into account).

An intense international fear is growing regarding the global stock market as investors worldwide run toward the same safe havens.

With the election just two weeks away, we've received a slew of panicked calls from readers considering pulling out of the markets. And I understand their concern; I share their sentiment...

All the statistics I have researched further justify this uneasy feeling — which is eerily similar to the calm-before-the-storm mood of 2008.

History to Repeat Itself?

Unfortunately, today's financial system is even weaker and more vulnerable today than it was back in 2008 (and we all know how painful that market crash was).

Peter Schiff, Doug Short, Robert Wiedemer, Harry Dent, and Nouriel Roubini have all warned a massive stock crash is imminent.

The analysts who acutely predicted the collapse of the housing bubble and the complete economic disaster of 2008 are now saying next year will be another big year for "a global perfect storm,” as Roubini calls it.

Goldman Sachs recently revised their market forecast for 2012-2013 for a 15% decline.

Meanwhile, the looming fiscal cliff — which would otherwise deduct 5% GDP growth — and the never-ending debt ceiling debate further signal a bigger market crash.

Today's Special: Volatily

We at Wealth Daily are eager to help you prepare for “the year of system collapse” — before it hits.

Nick Hodge reminded readers that the Dow is quickly approaching pre-recession levels, inching closer to the 14,000 mark. Last time that happened, the equal and opposite reaction wasn't very pretty: It dipped below 7,000 in less than six months.

If history has taught us anything, it's that market trends repeat themselves — especially when the market is this vulnerable.

Just because the Dow and NASDAQ are making momentous moves upward right now doesn't mean we're experiencing real recovery...

click chart to enlarge

Markets are merely being moved by inflation induced by the Fed's QE3 policies combined with low interest rates for consumers.

Much like steroids for athletes, fiat money and inflation offer only a temporary boost of strength. Real strength will have to come from internal factors like improving jobless ratings, undergoing a sustainable manufacturing uptick, and more overall creation and innovation giving our American companies a stronger competitive edge.

Once investors realize that we don't have these crucial elements in play yet, the market will undergo extreme volatility as investors try to determine which sectors are truly going to bring them sustainable gains.

How to Play a Flat Market

We find ourselves in a pivotal election year amidst widespread social unrest — not only in the U.S., but across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.

Changes that lie ahead could trigger even bigger market fluctuations.

You can't afford to ignore the number one investing metric that too many investors have been ignoring this year: value growth.

Investors must pay attention to growth trends instead of focusing on a company's book value at a specific point in time.

That's the only way billionaire investors like Warren Buffett are able to stay ahead of the curve regardless of volatility, flat markets, and a stifled economy.

Here are five bargain stocks that fit the mold:

Ford Motors (NYSE: F) has received wishy-washy sentiment from investors since the recession hit. At first, investors were proud to invest in Ford, as it was the best of the best among automakers... Now investors are leery. But if you look at Ford's fundamentals, it appears now is an ideal time to buy, as demand for stock is low and car prices have dropped dramatically. Ford may take a strong, momentous jump forward into 2013 as their new cars has been received with accolades and good reviews from automotive journalists.

Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) has acquired an impressive book value growth. The firm has obtained a 32.3% surge in book value per share this past year alone. Western Digital is now officially the world's largest hard drive manufacturer after acquiring Hitachi's hard drive business in March.

Joy Global (NASDAQ: JOYG) is a heavy equipment maker whose book value per share surged by 32.1% over the course of the year. Investors seeking dividends and value growth may want to give Joy Global a closer look as emerging markets are predicted to give Joy Global another boost; JOYG already has a presence in China and India.

Teradyne (NYSE: TER) is a leader in providing automated test equipment for the semiconductor industry. This year its book value per share climbed up an impressive 25.5%. Teradyne holds more than $840 million in cash and other investments allowing them to easily offset the $167 million debt. Approximately 24% of its market capitalization is made up of “cold, hard cash” — not too shabby.

Exelon (NYSE: EXC) is a $30.5 billion power holding company that has grown its book value per share more than 21% this past year after acquiring Constellation Energy. It owns a blend of businesses, both regulated and unregulated. If you don't already know, the power business is known to be “capital intense,” and Exelon's balance sheet proves that stereotype to be true. Its book value growth is just one more “source of tangible shareholder value that shouldn’t be ignored.”

Although I believe severe volatility lies ahead in 2013, there are safe sectors that will benefit in an otherwise flat stock market.

Of course, it certainly won't hurt to buff up your portfolio with silver and gold to hedge uncertainty.

I knew this year's droughts hurt farmers; I expected oil to go higher.

I also knew there was a way to hedge all that inflation...

Hedging Inflation: Why It's More Important than Ever

After QE3 was announced, the true malaise of our nation became crystal clear: Inflation will continue to force millions of desperate Americans to rely on the government for everyday needs.

Ron Paul recently warned our nation’s welfare crisis may soon end in imminent chaos.

Individual as well as corporate welfare issuance is at an all-time high — with no signs of receding.

Tad Dehaven at Cato estimates the government spends almost twice as much on corporate welfare than on social welfare. The business sector has been conditioned to rely on taxpayers, and the struggling taxpayers have learned to rely on an increasingly debt-ridden Big Government.

Paul asserts the dependency issue is largely fueled by deceitful government promises.

We all know someone who relies on Social Security and Medicare benefits, and I think most of us would agree it's a fair entitlement; these people have been paying into programs their entire lives... but it's a whole other animal when the programs and funds people are dependent on become “worthless due to government default or rampant inflation.”

If you consider the number of seniors on Medicare and/or Social Security, the millions on food stamps and welfare, and the masses employed directly by the government, it totals a shocking 165 million of approximately 308 million total Americans.

If 53% of our nation’s people are relying on unfulfilled government promises, what’s going to happen when the government can no longer keep up and its entire financial system collapses?

Complete and utter chaos would ensue. Riots, burglary, and sheer lawlessness could spread like wildfire in cities and towns.

The austerity measures and riots in Greece are merely a precursor to what will happen in the U.S. if the government can’t agree on more fiscally-restrictive measures regarding entitlements for America's dependents.

But if you sit around waiting for that to happen, you’ve only got yourself to blame for not properly preparing...

Not only does this single performance leave Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway in the dust...

It's only one of many multi-thousand percent winners launched by the same tiny investment collective.

The Silver Lining

This is why big banks, billionaires, and investors are flooding into the precious metals markets.

Silver and gold are the only zero-risk assets right now.

And that explains why silver and gold demand is inflicting a serious supply crisis, as miners drill more rapidly and invest in huge projects in emerging gold belts around the globe, Mexico especially.

That's why it is still possible to maintain a recession-proof retirement.

You can come out on top in spite of all the coming chaos — if you invest in these assets.

The numbers tell the story: Silver is up over 18% in 2012 and up at least 27.5% since mid-June, only four short months ago:

Imagine where silver will be in 12 months…

If you’re considering moving out of a position to grab some quick gains, Silver Wheaton’s CEO Randy Smallwood believes you’d be making a grave mistake. Experts anticipate silver will soar to $40 an ounce within six months and end the 2013 rally with 47% gains, putting silver at $50.

As you can see, there is a silver lining in the Fed’s inevitable "QE Infinity"...

If analysts' predictions come true — and we do experience QE4 next year — silver could launch even higher.

Smallwood explains: “… it all comes down to how many U.S. dollars are being printed to carry or restart or build on the economy here in the United States.”

Refuse to be suppressed by things you cannot control. You may not be able to stop the Fed from aligning with the government to support a wasteful bureaucracy at the expense of taxpayers like you and me...

But you can use that information to better invest your wealth and savings in safer assets.

Don't sacrifice what is rightfully yours without putting up a fight!
When you can't count on Congress and Big Government, you can always count on the Fed to step up to the challenge.

At least, you'd like to think so...

The truth is you'd be a fool to fall for a one-trick pony with a history dominated by failure and disappointment.

"But wait!" the naïve cry. "The good ole' Federal Reserve has faithfully returned for a third time to dismiss our economic distress and put our fears and financial burdens to rest..."

"A gallant knight in shining armor amidst all the bipartisan debt-crisis stalemates, QE3 has come to make all our wildest dreams come true and let us live happily ever after!"

What a joke.

Unless you like paying $6 a gallon to fill up your tank and and $3 for an ear of corn, QE3 certainly won't be enough of a stimulus to keep us out of range of the looming fiscal cliff... It'll only bring us there a little faster.

Operation Twist wasn't enough, and the big Wall Street banks have already complained that QE3 is not enough.

Morgan Stanley is predicting QE4 by the end of 2012.

As Greg McCoach told you earlier this week, these policies are nothing more than banker bailouts in disguise. The Fed's got a insatiable hunger for easy money. Enough will never be enough for these guys...

Experts are flabbergasted and fears are escalating. People believe we're in the midst of an economic slump that'll outlast Europe's depression in the 1930s.

What's the Government Gonna Do About It?

They're going to steal from you if you don't stop them.

With an unprecedented currency debasement like the one we're predicting right now, the government's going to go after your bullion investments as they quietly panic. In fact, they've been doing just that for some time now...

That's right, bullion is already being seized from personal storage safes and handed over to the government.

Since the financial crisis erupted nearly four years ago, more and more related stories are leaking of innocent investors falling victim to "bullion theft" — when in reality, the government takes gold and silver from the individual's safe deposit box and justifies it with jargon and red tape.

Worldwide economic uncertainty has turned our leaders, politicians, and alleged economy-boosters into a group of elite thieves.

They're hoarding precious metals for the same reason you should be: Gold and silver bullion offers the only safe haven from the impending economic sh*tstorm.

When it comes to precious metals, possession is nine-tenths of the law.

With today's schemesters calling the shots, we'd be foolish not to acknowledge possession as the ONLY way to truly own anything.

Don't sacrifice what is rightfully yours without putting up a fight! Uncle Sam takes enough from you as it is — and it'll only get worse after the massive tax increases are mandated on January 1, 2013.

Most importantly, you need to understand the dangers of safety-deposit boxes, and secure your silver where you feel safest: in your home.

This may sound drastic, but I'm serious. Take responsibility of yourself and your wealth now...

Continued and increasing violence in Africa this week threatens political stability — and the world's supply of gold and platinum.

Gold Riots and Fatalities in South Africa

The South African Press Association reported approximately 20,000 transportation industry workers are currently on strike, in addition to about 80,000 other miner strikers.

Almost 100,000 workers are now on strike nationwide.

Strikers were met by security forces with rounds of rubber bullets at a factory in Howick, according to Regional Secretary Mbuso Ngubane from National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.

Forty-six have been pronounced dead.

As the world's third-largest gold producer contributing to 20% of the world's gold production, these strikes have a major impact on mining companies and their ability to meet consumer and industry demands.

Steep Price of Struggle

Earlier this month, we told Wealth Daily readers about brutal strikes at Lonmin's Marikana platinum mine. After police murdered at least 40 miners, the 270 survivors were charged with the murders.

South Africa is responsible for producing 70% of the world's platinum. Consequently, the South African platinum mines were closed and the price of physical platinum soared.

Despite the Lonmin settlement (including a 22% pay increase for workers), the situation has only gotten worse, as Thursday's news reports indicated...

Miners have told reporters that they are still being shot at, harassed, and intimidated by police and army men.

Continued strikes at Anglo American Platinum Ltd. (AMS) — the largest producer of gold — run the risk of major job losses as 21,000 employees refuse to work until the required resolution procedures are followed.

AngloGold, the world's third-largest gold producer, announced production at all of the company's South African mines has been ceased until further notice.

While the investment climate remains challenged in South Africa due to concerns for future political stability, gold investors with physical coins and bullion are guaranteed to see some enormous returns in the aftermath of these strikes.

When looking at the gold market as a whole, you should expect the severity of these strikes to strongly impact gold prices in the months to follow...

Prepare for prices to rise rather sharply amidst supply disruptions.

China's Role

China's also giving gold a boost this week.

News of a Chinese investment in an Australian gold mining company has given gold a lift: Prices jumped 1% on Thursday, adding $26.90 and setting a new seven-month high of $1,780.50/ounce.

Gold hasn't traded that high since February 28.

Times Colonist reports: “In turn, the gold-heavy materials sector was one of the biggest gainers on the TSX, up 2% for the day with shares in Barrick Gold Corp. up 1.6%, or 66¢ to $40.97.”

Take Action

Last weekend, I told you there was already a tremendous scarcity of gold and silver in the world, which makes precious metals investments worth more than anything else you can or will be able to invest in in the foreseeable future...

This week's events have heightened — and quickly accelerated — the seriousness of the supply crisis at hand.

Precious metals will start rising quicker than any gold bull could have imagined. Buy while you can.

JP Morgan's silver scandal and Gold Cartel secrets revealed soon...
Their dirty little secrets are out, finally meeting the public eye.

It's about time these crooks start paying what they owe...

A quiet federal crackdown is under way to catch bankers involved in serious scandals costing taxpayers billions since the late 1990s.

JP Morgan's silver scandal and Gold Cartel secrets will soon be exposed in the mix.

Although it's not uncommon for those in positions of power with loads of stolen cash to bribe reporters (especially when it comes to a scandal that cons innocent, unknowing taxpayers directly), that doesn't mean there aren't dozens of ongoing investigations amidst piles of undeniably compelling evidence.

Since 2009, federal authorities have secured at least 19 convictions or guilty pleas from bankers accused of systematically defrauding states, local government, and non-profits.

In the past six months alone, the investigation has resulted in seven convictions or guilty pleas.

Firms associated with criminal investigations include three Fortune 500 companies: Bank of America, JPMorgan, and General Electric.

As restitution, government agencies have collected over $740 million in penalties and other fees from these institutions.

Here's how the frauds were able to manipulate the system at your expense, according to CNNMoney:

State and local governments issue municipal bonds to fund things like road construction and school repairs. In some cases, they issue the bonds on behalf of non-profits or companies that will spend the money on projects benefiting the public.

The market for these bonds is massive, with more than $3.7 trillion outstanding as of the beginning of this year, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Governments and other issuers don't typically spend all the proceeds from their bonds right away, instead investing some of the money and holding it for future expenditures.

To figure out how to invest that money, they hire brokers who advise on and manage a bidding process among financial institutions competing for their business. Bids are solicited from firms like UBS and JPMorgan, which submit the interest rates they're willing to offer on the bond proceeds.

JPMorgan is in serious trouble.

GATA's Bill Murphy predicts explosive upside moves for precious metals shortly after the conclusion of the ongoing investigations — especially following those focused on JPMorgan specifically.

Gold and silver 'conspiracy theories' are on the verge of becoming widely accepted as conspiracy facts.

Murphy explains all the markets have been manipulated to the benefit of the financial elite, but now JPMorgan and the Gold Cartel are beginning to lose control.

Central banks and billionaires have been stocking up on cheap gold and silver, but the reality is there's not enough supply to keep the prices down.

Murphy told Altinvestors.com:

This thing is gonna blow up. Whether it’s a Madoff or an Enron, you never know when the thing’s gonna blow. I stated previously that in August the launch would start. The launch has started.

There is going to be a JP Morgan silver scandal to rival LIBOR. They’ve been caught. There are whistle-blowers that are going to do a Madoff on them. This thing is going to explode, it’s going to be sensational, and MEGA!

The JPMorgan scandal and other short-silver and gold capers will have the metals soaring remarkably fast — certainly not overnight, but quickly in market terms.

Finally, precious metals markets are about to exposed for what they really are: the ONLY trusted form of currency right now.

And the supply slump is far more serious than the banking schemers led you to believe...

Experts have said there is a “tremendous scarcity,” making gold and silver worth more than anything else you can or will be able to invest in in the foreseeable future.

While the rest of the financial system is held together by a few fraying strands, the precious metals market is set to skyrocket as the rest of the system collapses.

All signs in the market allude to this notion...

Earlier this week, gold completed what is known as the rare Golden Cross — suggesting a serious upside for gold in the coming months.

A Golden Cross occurs when the current price and shorter-term moving averages (such as the 50-day moving average) cross or rise above the longer-term 200-day moving average.

August through February is a historically popular time for gold price spikes, so I suggest you prepare accordingly.

Even Bernanke and other central bankers won't be able to help their rich friends stock up by keeping metal prices down once the rest of the world catches on to what's been going on.

The laws of supply and demand will always prevail. And those laws leave silver and gold with no direction to go but UP.

Until next time,

Here's how to hedge QE3...
A few weeks ago, I told you about silver manipulation and bankster fraud.

At the beginning of the month, I told you how the Fed would destroy the dollar with more quantitative easing.

As of Thursday, QE3 has officially arrived — causing gold and equities to jump as I told you they would as soon as Bernanke confirmed what we already knew he was planning to do: firing up the ole printing press.

That's why I stopped listing the reasons why you should buy silver and gold last week... and instead offered you a list showing how you can avoid buying counterfeit metals.

I explained why it's time to stop merely considering the reasons you should buy and actually start buying — but you have to be smart about who you buy from.

I was hoping you'd get ahead and start buying before the Fed's decision.

If you didn't, don't fret. It always takes a little while for the market to realize QE is a failure by design.

When QE3 does go up in smoke, those who have diversified their portfolios and stockpiled silver and gold will be the only ones not panicking over the disappearance of their hard-earned wealth...

Something Precious This Way Comes

On August 8, Brian Hicks explained why silver futures were in backwardation and would therefore make some major moves in a short period of time.

Silver is already up almost 21% since Brian's article, but the real silver rush has scarcely begun...

The next few weeks may offer you a last chance to buy at the most profitable time.

Would you rather buy:

When everyone else is bullish and buying to hoard as much as they can... or

When everyone else is bearish and selling?

Before too long, there aren't going to be any silver bears left.

You'd be hard-pressed to find any silver or gold owners willing to sell their bullion holdings, and your chances of finding one three months from now will be even greater.

Before long, it'll be impossible to find a seller...

You'll want to buy before silver goes up another 21% — and then 50%.

Silver prices will increase exponentially. The more buyers that flood the market, the quicker the price will rise.

The supply crunch will weigh heavily on producers until the supply runs dry.

This means $100 silver is right around the corner.

The same supply versus demand scenario stands true for gold.

Upon Bernanke's announcement of QE3 until further notice, gold prices surged to a six-month high.

Barrick CEO Jamie Sokalsky told CNBC: “Well I think the factors are in place, more than ever, for a further rise in the gold price... I think the gold price could definitely surpass previous highs and go above $2,000 and even higher in the next year.”

So there you have it: $2,000 gold and $100 silver are on the way.

With QE3, the precious metals bull is running harder than ever — and it's here to stay for at least the next several years...

Next week, I'll let you in how the latest JPMorgan Scandal will cause silver to go ballistic, hitting $100 faster than anyone anticipated.

More investment intel from this past week below.

A Gold Medal is only 6 grams gold — a measly 1.34%.

Copper, silver, and other metals make up the rest.

And Olympic Gold Medals aren't the only fakes out there...

Investors are riled up this year, as new cases unfold daily revealing fake gold bars being pawned off as the real deal.

Gold's Gilded Age

In March, UK media coverage exploded with a disturbing phenomena: gold bars filled with Tungsten instead of pure gold.

Gold owners have been shocked when they've attempted to cash in their gold, expecting a small fortune... and instead walked with a fraction of what they expected.

It's a real shame, but these are hard times and gold is perhaps the hottest of all commodities on the market...

And it's about to skyrocket in value yet again.

Gold's Recharged Bull Market

Christian DeHaemer delivered Wealth Daily readers some interesting news on the gold front this week.

A serious production delay in the gold market is under way after 34 miners were killed by police during a strike at Lonmin's Marikana platinum mine in South Africa, the world's third largest gold-producing nation.

Recent gold mining strikes have had a big impact on the price of gold bullion.

Add to that Bernanke's plans for QE3 (be ready for the Fed's next meeting to conclude on September 13, and they are expected to officially announce the next round of quantitative easing) and the worsening financial situation in Europe...

Experts and analysts have little reason to doubt gold is about to surge to record highs.

The Bad News

That's great news for gold investors — but not so great for those who lack experience when it comes to buying the yellow metal.

A surge in gold demand often leads inexperienced investors to buy for the first time... only to find out their precious purchases are tainted with less valuable goods, as heightened demand also beckons scams and fraud.

Since 2011 there have been hundreds of cases of Chinese counterfeiters.

These people openly brag about producing over 100,000 fake U.S. Silver Dollars per year — per counterfeiter in some cases. In fact, as much as 10% of China's GDP is a direct result of counterfeiting!

Fraudulent dealing can be catastrophically disastrous for investors who have put a sizable percentage of their net worth in counterfeit precious metal coins and bars.

This emerging technology just handed early investors
over 4,985%... and it's getting ready to do it again

At this very moment, an emerging technology is taking the world by storm, changing lives, and making early investors rich.

In fact, one stock just soared from $10 to $500, handing savvy investors a whopping 5,000%. That's good enough to turn a $25,000 investment into $1.25 million.

The best part? This is only the tip of the iceberg.

In fact, in the following video, I'll show you three stocks that have absolutely explosive upside potential and the ability to turn every $1 you invest into $10... $25... even $50 or more.

Avoid the Counterfeit Trap

Even experts have been fooled by fake gold.

But you can avoid falling into that trap.

Just follow these ten tips compiled by the Gold Bullion Pro:

1.) Look at the seller feedback and forums if possible.
If you don't do your homework, you could pay the price later.

2.) Ask for an assay test.
Do not trust a dealer who is not willing to wait for the test do be completed.

3.) Third-party specialist verification
Make sure the third party is reputable.

4.) Insist on seeing the certification.
If the seller isn't willing to show you their gold's certification, don't buy.

5.) Use only reputable dealers.
Use only the trusted dealers with a respectable business history.

6.) Insist on only stamped and minted precious metal products for small amounts.
When buying small amounts of bullion, only choose those bars that are stamped and have serial numbers.

7.) Impartial grading
When purchasing bullion via the Internet, ask for documentation on the impartial grading of the bullion products. Legitimate dealers should have this form of certification.

8.) Slabbing
Make sure the slabbing and the coin go together. Fake gold generally does not include slabbing.

9.) Test using a magnet.
True gold is not magnetic. It should not react to a magnet at all. If it does, it's fake.

10.) Evaluate complaints and negative feedback about your dealer carefully.
When it comes to your dealer, don't risk even a single bad review mentioning fake gold. Find another dealer instead.

As Q3 looms, it's important to prepare yourself and your portfolio for the continued decline of the dollar.

Precious metals offer a good hedge as the Fed fires up the printing presses yet again — but it's important that you don't just load up on gold blindly...

Educate yourself on the market. Learn how to detect a fake gold bar for yourself before you visit a dealer.
“We, as individuals, can live beyond our means by borrowing, but only for a limited period of time. Why then should we think that collectively, as a nation, we are not bound by that same limitation?”

— Ronald Reagan

In 2005 our debt was $5.6 trillion, and in 2010 it was $13.5 trillion.

It's set to surpass the $20 trillion mark by 2016.

That's just four years from now.

The days of living beyond our means and piling up mounds of borrowed (nonexistent) money to pay for it all has taken a toll on our nation.

The consequences are so severe, many wonder if we'll ever truly recover...

Not to Fear — the Fed is Here!

Quantitative easing won't fix this mess we've gotten ourselves into. The Fed's 'Monopoly money' is a joke, no matter how many times they tell us it's the only feasible way to keep our economy afloat.

Consequently, a dramatic decline of the dollar is unfolding before our very eyes. Its imminent collapse is just another hasty Fed policy away.

You will have to diversify your portfolio accordingly if you don't want to lose everything.

Don't get me wrong; the market will experience a slight boost immediately following the announcement of QE3 this fall...

But shortly after the election, when QE efforts prove lackluster yet again, we could once again find ourselves in a world of despair... and for some time.

It happened with QE1 and again with QE2.

Why should we expect something different this time?

After all, “a free market system has to find its level roots,” explains Keith Springer, president of Springer Financial Advisors, who predicts a market crash post-election.

Don't Panic... Buy Gold

Gold bullion investments are a must if you want to hedge inflation and survive the crash.

Silver futures will help protect you, too.

Platinum and uranium offer some peace of mind as well.

Christian DeHaemer has kept his Crisis and Opportunity readers in the know with some profitable precious metal trades that are up since he told his readers to buy gold and silver...

Traders purchasing the 3x Gold Miners ETF (NYSE: NUGT) two weeks ago are up 19.79% as of the beginning of this week. The Silver ETF (NYSE: SLV) was up 11%. And Christian helped his readers earn 83% returns in a single day from a platinum options play.

Last weekend, I told you Wall Street insiders were moving billions out of equity funds and into hard assets.

That trend isn't easing...

Earlier this week, Bloomberg reported hedge funds “boosted bets on rising commodities to the highest in 15 months, driving prices into a bull market as the U.S. drought worsened and the Federal Reserve signaled it may take more steps to spur economic growth.”

Additionally, investors added another $1.47 billion to commodity funds in the week ending on August 22 — the third inflow of money in the past four weeks. Of that, $1.36 billion went directly toward precious metals: gold, silver, platinum, and palladium.

In the past month, investors bought $2.77 billion worth of the yellow metal through gold-backed exchange-traded products; 53.26 metric tons so far.

Data reveals traders are the most bullish they've been since November 11.

Brad Durham, managing director of EPFR Global, has interpreted this sign as an indicator that QE3 will happen.

QE3 in September, a critical election in November, and financial Armageddon by winter?

Though it's hard to say the exact day or week it will all go down, the signs point to the end of a dark road...

It's time to stop relying on the government and the Fed to fix things. It's time to pave your own road to wealth.

I suggest you do so with gold and other precious metals.
